Thank you soooo much I appreciate all the prayers I can get right about now..... I thought I was taking it hard , until I had to sit my kids down and tell them. The one that lost it and is still not dealing with it well is my oldest daughter because she never made it out to see her grandmother and introduce her son to his great grandmother... She is not dealing with that to well.... So long story short, we can use the prayers... Thanks y'all.

:( Its tough when someone passes away and there's things you wanted to do before they left. I have some regrets of not seeing my grandmother before she died and I feel since you have them regrets its harder to take on that the person has actually gone.
Stay strong, once again I'm praying for you and your family!

You know, it's funny you say that. The mother who raised me, my adoptive mother, was a horrible alcoholic. I really hadn't had much contact with her for for about ten years before her death two years ago, but for many years prior I expected to get a phone call telling me she had died. When I finally did get the call that she had collapsed and was on a respirator and was not going to recover, my first thought was, "No, I'm not ready!" As painful as the next two weeks waiting for her to pass were, I was thankful I had the opportunity to tell her why I was mad at her and to forgive her, even though she couldn't hear me.
Sorry to use your space to air issues of my own. The best thing I can say, and it may sound trite, is people are only here for a short time, but they live on in our memories. Treasure her memory and don't get too hung up in the grief. You have to take time to grieve, but like my mother, I choose to remember the good times. My thoughts and prayers are still with you.
