DARKNESS(dot), the Feythabolis-based alliance which has been a member of the RUS bloc throughout the course of the Halloween War, decided today to switch sides and join forces with their enemies, the N3 bloc. In response, DARKNESS is being reset both by RUS bloc members and the CFC.

The leader of DARKNESS, Skilo, the CEO of "the muppets" corporation, put the question of whether to stay with the RUS or join N3 to a vote among the DARKNESS membercorp CEOs, and the alliance as a whole chose to flip sides. Sources indicate that this move was made to avoid losing the alliance's space to the N3/PL counteroffensive.

Needless to say, this is a controversial move, and has been declared an act of treason by both the RUS and the CFC.

In EVE Online instead of clans you have corporations and alliances and when a corp/alliance pulls something like this expect a very large and costly battle to erupt soon.

Well, RUS is the largest alliance of Russian EVE players...China made CCP build a Chinese only server.

I use to play long time ago in a galaxy far away. I was part of a group of military/GS/Contrs that would use our training and tradecraft to infiltrate and destroy corporations and alliances from within. I also dappled in covert ops in EVE and and played DUST 514 in closed and open beta before my health crashed and I had to take time off from both and just never went back. I think my guys may still have some plex and billions of ISK not being used.
