I have heard the Beta is pretty weak from multiple people and fans of the series. I know Bethesda will step their game up and produce a genuine product I just hope they keep to their roots.

All I play is FPS, on PC on Console, With exception of Phantasy Star IV, GunStarr Heroes, Final Fantasy VII, and the Diablo Series. I do not play RPG's. I personally think they are Elton John(...Think about it, it will come to you..LOL) However, I finished I played Daggerfall back in the day, it was meh...Played Morrowind and finished it for Xbox while I was deployed, About 40hrs of Oblivion..COD 4 MW came out so I was like FTW!!. Played No Skyrim. I said all that to say this, ESO is amazing, its a grind, but isn't it supposed to be, they started building this game in 2010. There are thousands on top of thousands of hours of gameplay in this game! I am loving it, besides look at its current PC sells. That many people cant be wrong. I know some WoW fan boys are butt hurt because it doesn't play like WoW, well that's because it is not WoW!!!!! Duh, its very good Elder Scrolls lore as well. Its after Oblivion but 1000 years before Skyrim...VERY GOOD, I Recommend it!!!

Here, Here! Exactly.....Most MMO's are Still Beta's up to 2 years after launch. Many Bugs and Nerfs, and Updates, etc........for future. Its a great standalone game from other MMO's. Yet at the same time, the General Concepts are all the same. So Par for the Course!!! Which in MMO world = Great, because we know what disasters fell other Titles...Matrix Online for example...oh yes, I went there......lol

I should've also added that there will be the contingent that doesn't like it just because it's not their thing. Not everybody who doesn't like it needs a bad reason.

And don't even get me started on Age of Conan.... Simple yet immersion-breaking or game-breaking bugs all over the place that are listed as "fixed" several times over yet remain after every patch.... Some of them have been around for over five years, e.g. when you zone, your mount goes invisible pretty often. So in order to fix it, you zoom into first person and zoom back out. Voila! And this bug is one that they have NEVER been able to conquer. Too busy working on a terrible pendulum effect they create every time they try to "balance" classes (where they also have bug fits). Their devs and PMs don't play the game. They implement PVE fixes that screw up PVP and vice versa, it's just such a shitshow. However, that was my MMO of choice since around 2009 when it became more interesting to me than WoW. The combat system used to be great, open world FFA PVP was awesome, the gritty lore aspect was sweet, the graphics and zones rocked, and who doesn't like collision detection? But it was run into the ground by a bunch of incompetents. Sad really. I wonder why I stuck to a game that made me so mad so often.

But anyway yeah, ESO so far looks pretty fun. Doesn't seem to be much non-standard about it but it's something with a decidedly different flavor so I decided to give it a shot. Worst thing that could happen is I go back to WoW or something else. That's not such a bad consolation prize.

Have to say not to impressed by ESO. Played for a few, but just do not feel it is worth the 12.99-14.99 a month to play. Really looking forward to H1Z1. Looks pretty badass.

I'm going to reserve judgment for when I get further along to higher level junk, and get some PvP action.

It does smart a little to have the sub hit you every month, but if Bethesda keeps the game maintained as they should with a sub base, while also providing content, it should be worth it.

I understand why people are against sub based games, but I'm normally only against a sub idea is if they don't expect the game to be maintained and content added at a higher level. I've seen too many F2P and B2P models turn to P2W or mothballed.

I do believe Bethesda will do a good job maintaining it. I am more worried about the content of the game. Yes I know it is new and will easily take 1-2 years to get the game where it should be. So I am thinking- see where it goes in the next 6-12 months.

I do not mind sub games. Just expect a lot more from them.

PVP is fun!!! Takes a few to get use to it.

I love it, but then again I am a higher LvL than you 2. The first new Content drops at the end of this Month....MMO's are hard to be impressed with post WoW release all them years ago. MMO's basically grow on you, You either love the content/Grow to love it, or just eventually stop playing. I personally just enjoy Elder Scrolls. My Rig + This game = A Beautiful Multiplayer or Single-player Adventure! $60 paid for one Hell of an Epic Adventure, 12.99 pays to enjoy it with Friends monthly. I agree, the first 6-12 months can break an MMO, so we will judge its Success by next April, and I am hoping they dont Announce a F2P model, atleast not in the First few years, Thats called Defeatism...........LOL

My only Problem with this game, as with All MMO's (Its still so early in the games life) but I posted this on FB....Kinda funny.....

Kiss My Black Ass! See, I did as you told me to, required me to, downright insisted! I came to your Aid, and after 2 and a Half Hours (1 quest) of me Running (I used Mount) Errands for you............Ok so, here is what happened. I am Strolling along in StormHaven , talk to an NPC...BOOM, Quest. So sure, what the heeeey, I was in the neighborhood, dont mention it....ya know? So go and Defeat like 700/700 Mofo's [700 is embellished but you get the idea] and return the quest to the quest giver (Mind you, the distance traveled to get the quest, complete the quest, and then return all the way back to the quest giver.) He says; "Thank You" I say NP. Then he says; "BTW could you maybe go collect 700/700 Amulets, from the same Mofo's corpses you just slain?" So I think to myself, Damn I really dont want to, but Ef it, I like killing things, so lets do this......Long story Short, I had to do this like 15 different mini quest inside 1 quest, the Quest giver was conveniently located near ZERO Wayshires. Why couldnt you give me all the info at once so i could complete it all and return to you 1 time, makes no sense. Some of you might say, well why not just abandon it, its not a Main Story tie in. Well, I will tell you why I didnt quit. I kept going because I noticed it had been like an hour and a half since I started this quest, I just know they are going to reward my hard work with some Great Gear or Gold or Both. So about 1 and a half hours in, I return to the guy, and he sends me to a Dungeon(Yay!! About to come up on this loot, Some XP, kill some mobs, mini Boss...Woo Hoo). Dungeon took about an hour, no skyshard. BS Cheap move using, Glitchy Mini Boss who spawns when he wants. If he doesnt, then no loot and no credit for quest...ugh! Boss dropped 2/3 pieces of Shadow set Armor {Green} they were so/so not worth the work. So I complete the quest, (Bout to get that Gear) The damn Quest Giver gives me some Exalted Shield {Purple} I am a Dual Wielding, Medium Armor wearing, Dark Elf Dragon Knight. I have Zero Uses for this Effing Shield (Yes I know I can sell it), also 146g ...R U Fuhhhhhh Kidding me 2 and a half hours for a POS Shield and 146g...I have found more Gold on Tamriel Bums than that. They could have atleast gave me the whole Shitty armor set...........ugh!!!I am now Currently playing in Protest...........LOL

I just heard about that! So fuckin gutted!!! I have been getting really excited for this game as I loved all the previous elder scrolls! :( now it's going to clash with Shadows of Mordor! Nooooooo. Then again maybe ours will be better than pc's version :D
