Got a JTAC question, which came up today. Now, forget all this COIN shit we've been doing and consider the SOM is for kinetic, conventional ops for actions on an objective. The question;
Can air assets be controlled under the maxord or over the maxord as long as they have a good path that would keep then within a cone that would allow them to fly through a batteries gun path? Scenario: I have 4 CH-53, moving to an obj and they have to cross a battery of 155s, gun path that is engaged in a fire mission.
