today while check face book iread aplead from a soldier asking for help because after leaving the millitary he started to realize something wasnt right so he explains his issues and i knew exactly what was wrong. hehas PTSD andit seems bad.the problem he was ashamed to say who he was , worried of the pussy stigma. THIS HAS TO STOP IM WILLING TO BET MEETING ME IN PERSON PUSSSY IS THELAST THING I WILL BE SEEN AS OR REFERED TO WITHOUT SERIOUS REPERCUTIONS. We nneed to kill this stigma and now THESE ARE OUR FAMILY WE NEED TO HELP AND SUPPORT THEM WE ONLY HAV OUR MILLITARY FAMILY WHO CAN UNDERSTAND AT ALL . IF U WILL TAKE THAT BULLET FOR YOUR BROTHER.THE LEAST WE CAN DO IS TRY TO LISTEN AND TAKE THE TIME TO CARE BEFORE LOOSE THEM once we get back to this shitty real wold . SgtAndrsn222Inf THANKs 4 THe seconds to read

I'm pretty sure its not those he considers or is his brother/sisters in arms that are saying this.

I think, if anything, its the people who he surrounds himself outside of the military (civilians) who don't understand his situation.

I think he should open up and let others know his problems.

If he keeps them balled up inside him, its only going to get worse.

Has he reached out to anyone? She should definitely seek some help from his family and professionals. I do not think Facebook is a good way to do it. The internet can be full of assholes.

People on Facebook on groups like wtf army moments etc who see they are trying to help people are dicks. No clue how many times I've seen them try helping a guy that is considering suicide and people on FB just tell them to do it all I can think is WTF!

This. I (obviously) do not have PTSD and don't know personally anyone who does, but having a stigma attached to it does no one any good. (Except for maybe make a few people feel more "macho" because they don't have it)

And dude, I get that you're pissed, but please check the spelling. It took me a loooong time to parse those sentences. And I mean this in a helpful way if possible, not my normal grammar-Nazi way I normally have

This. I have personally dealt with friends and Marines who has PTSD from their multiple tours to Iraq and Afghanistan. And just talking to them and being there for them is what helps the most
