How does one rip off the other when they were in development at the same time? If they were just starting to develop Adv Warefare now, I could see a slim possibility of it being a ripoff but they got their ideas from DARPA per their interview in Game Informer. If Titanfall had consulted DARPA as well, then it's not infeasible that two developers could come up with very similar elements from the same source.

The double jump was nothing like Titanfall.....hell, it wasn't even much of a double jump, just a very obvious boost from "rockets."

As for the gameplay, they look nothing alike. At least, no more than any FPS does.

Yes I did see the trailer and it's nothing like Titanfall. It's too grounded. Even tho there may be a booster on some exoskeletons it doesn't come close to the vertical play that is Titanfall. Also the trailer is clearly a campaign sample of which Titanfall doesn't have (I wish it did). A multiplayer campaign doesn't feel like a real campaign to me. The graphics are a lot cleaner to me as well. As for guns they all start looking similar to me. As long as it's mid range and doesn't kick like a mule I could care less what it looks like. Looked more like something out of Halo to me than Titanfall anyway.
