Microsoft is releasing a special edition controller and headset for the armed forces. I think the controller looks pretty cool. I wouldn't buy an extra one if I didn't need it though.

I don't really see it as a special edition though. It's available for preorder for anyone. I feel like in order for it to be special edition for the armed forces, it should only be available at military bases/aafes.com.

Agree with you there. Or have some way to verify that the people getting them are/were armed forces

I think they could have done better with the design
Maybe use an actual uniform for inspiration.
I dont see these being that popular.
And they can keep those headphones.

I don't know.....It's not terrible, and with all the controversy regarding cameo choice, a generic one makes sense

I agree with the generic choice, but why not make it more of the BDU layout where everything is smooth and rounded, not jagged like they have it

I didn't like the headphones either. For some reason, they don't look as cool as the controller.

You also have to think that they couldn't use one type of uniform over the other because all the different branches and militaries use different camouflaged patterns. Not to mention you would have some sailor, Marine, soldier, or airman all butt hurt because Xbox didn't use their Cammie pattern
