View Full Version : Staff duty Stories.
Well I'm sitting on Staff Duty again. I was thinking that some of you might have some pretty funny, or interesting stories to share about the 24 hour desk duty.

Last time I was on staff duty guy got into a verbal argument with his wife and instead of walking away from it he called the mps. Smfh. No fists thrown, no abuse just screaming at each other and he called the mps
Tonight's been slow. Last month I had to have the MP's come because soldiers thought they found someone's weed in the laundry. Turns out once it's washed they can't test it for anything so the MP's gave it back to me and said do whatever you want with it.
I've had a crazy wife come down looking for her husbands 72 hour room he got after an argument they had. Apparently he had been using it quite a bit to shack up with some E4 in the barracks and she was on a rampage trying to find it.
I had a barracks who're ask me which room she had signed into the night prior because she couldn't remember. It was great to tell her all 3 different rooms she had checked into.
I had a wife show up to the barracks to get a single soldier she had hooked up with to talk to her. When he found out she was married he tried to ditch her. His shitty roommate let her in the room and she stole the dudes car keys, and wallet in an attempt to force him to talk to her. I had to call the MP's on her ass.

I don't know if its the same thing in the AF we call it NCOD. I have seen some interesting things in the dorms... Catching pre blow job scenarios, male interaction in the day rooms, just lots of PDA type shit.

Staff duty is a 24 hour shift manning a desk for Battalion(squadron), brigade(group), division(wing) level commands. Basically answer phones, help visitors, clean everything, and handle all problems that come up in off-duty hours. I'm guessing on those Air Force levels from about 30 seconds of research, sorry if I'm wrong. CQ is the same thing but for the barracks.
