Guilted? Someone had to FORCE you by using Guilt Gun to buy this awesome idea of Bungies... strange.. I would have thought the absolute fun of this game would just brain wash you like it did the rest of us...

Honestly I wasn't impressed with the Beta. It reminds me too much of Defiance (which I also had high hopes for). Bungie has never made a huge open world before. Just because they did well with Halo (which was a very linear game) doesn't mean they will succeed with an open MMO world. Don't get me wrong, I hope it does hold up to the hype it's getting. I've just been disappointed one too many times to blindly trust that this is going to all it's hyped up to be. Klaws isn't getting it unless I give it my seal of approval lol. A mutual friend of ours guilted me into it by using the "I'll be lonely" card.

You should never buy any game out of guilt. buy a game because the game has great vistas to look at. buy it because you want to explore story line options. buy a game as a gift.
don't buy it because someone is playing the "I'll be lonely" card - fer shits sake its a console's version of an MMO almost.
i'm hoping you honestly enjoy the game. that you find it fun and engaging.
Tell your friend to learn to talk to strangers that aren't being stupid and give him a hand in the game. He could maybe make a new friend or 3.
I'm super excited for this game - but this just made me less excited.
maybe i need a nap....dunno. work in 2 hours.

Defiance puts too much emphasis on leveling weapons really one of my only complaints...the ark falls were epic in the beginning but you need friends to really appreciate the game just like any MMO

And there are a few I got that I was excited for and to this day still haven't played. Like Watchdogs and for the 360 I have Mass Effect 3, Fall Out, Max Payne 3. It's really all about the timing...and what friends are playing. I usually play what Klaws is playing (because he's impossible to live with if I don't play with him). Yea, we have a clan going.... Just go to the Bungie home page and set up an account for Destiny. Then when u log in look under groups... US Military Gamers... Send a request for membership of the clan , and bam done... Yea baby, 2 hrs and it's going down!!

I'm gonna pass after watching plenty of videos and falling asleep watching some of them as well. It just looks repetitive and I think I will be bored of it fast like I was with defiance.( which this game kind of reminds me of).

It just looks like a huge grindfest and I don't have the time for playing catch up when I get back and everyone is at max level. The mp looks really fun though. If I were to get it, it will be because of mp but there will be so much more games out I think it might die off like titanfall.
I wasn't gonna get it till payday, I came home today from the rifle range and my wife had gone out and bought it for me. BEST WIFE EVER!!!!!

I wonder if that will be the case. Isn't there talk that Bungie intends to develop this game at an MMORPG type pace for years? I wonder how that will pan out. That's one of the reasons I'm drawn to it I guess.
