I'll be picking up my copy today.
Sorry got busy at work, what are they thinking taking up my time haha
The buttons are so simple and same as most shooters. The melee took a second to get used to cause its a special cut scene when you do it not a panic knife. Also I love the weapons config. I silenced my weapons by choice and stealth bonuses came rolling in. Cant wait til multiplayer tonight.
I like that run is A on Xbox or its called rush. And the static aim is the right click R3 and the shoulder change is left click L3. Using cover is essential and it became natural to use it. they kept the cover rush/switch ability feels like old times with super graphics. I am just tired cause I played it til 330 am and got up at 630 for work. But it was awesome
If you want the special skins or weapons the signature edition is no extra cost.

Alright, if you got this game and done all your booting up and stuff like that, I have created the USMG clan within the game. Once you're logged on then I can send an invite, where you can accept when you look at squads page in the main menu. Let me know when you're GTG so I make sure everybody gets in. To my knowledge anyone can invite, so once we get people within this squad thing, we should spread like wildfire. There is also a ranking system but I have yet to see anything that says what you get out of ranking up the squad. If anyone sees anything that says the whats, whens and hows of the squad setup feel free to share the info with everyone.

For real, the weapon smith feature is sooo sweet. Also, this is the smoothest 3rd person I've ever played and this is comming from an MGO vet. This game, makes MGO look like shit... no lie... a huge steaming pile.

Havok and Mardi said they were going to pick up their's, Sick has it... and Actual said he has it or he was going to get it and Rookie said he got it for both. But like I said, this is the best tact shooter out there... you just can't beat it period.

I learned that last night. Angels led us well. I ran static skirmishing and our overwatch snipers kept me kinda safe. then Angels or someone would plant fast. Then D we need to work a little more on it, but we are used to calling out areas so it was a good start. I would get jumpy and over shoot. This game shot control is crucial.

I'm not exactly sold on this game yet. Campaign is kind of glitchy and the cut scenes are hoorrible. Same old "we give so much for other" drama.
Multiplayer really sucks with nobody on a mic. Basically trapped in your spawn if you join on a match. The third person is kind of irritating. It seems like your character fills too much of the screen unlike mag and socom where you had a better view of the battlefield. I'll give it a few more days but I'm not sold yet.
And btw they're already asking you to purchase the first dlc for next month, fuuuuuck that.

I was on all day and didn't see you once. you can't play like MW3 or BF3 with this one, play the engineer to point people out with your sensors and use the UAV and the buddy system. don't go off on your own that's a sure way to get hacked (in other words, do not lone wolf it).

Better yet, hit the back button and it'll trace the best route to the objective or a teammate ala Deadspace. ;)
In my last game I think around 4:00 am, were tied... it was the final round on decoy. my team held them off till the last min and they barely snagged the objective I went 37 27 it was great lol. it could've went either way lol.

ight now there is only six people to a squad per game, but supposedly this will increase later on. The Squad feature within the game should have an unlimited number of spots so hopefully we get a lot of people on so there is always someone to game with.

Pak, I'm sorry. I promise I'm not ignoring you, as I usually get an email alert for almost every single message posted after mine... For some reason I didn't. In any case I did try to link my new account and it was unsuccessful. Of course I am still a part of the account itself, when I log into elite it shows my new data with my new gamertag but it will not grant me access to the premium features of cod and elite, meaning I would have to fork out another $60. It normally wouldn't be a problem but I am now taking care of some family members and need the extra money. Plus I'm not online everyday like I used to be... Though that may change in the winter! I do have the new Ghost Recon tho and am looking forward to playing it with other members. The single player was rather boring but I could def see this game being an awesome multiplayer experience!

Agree with Pak, the frustration level with scrub randoms can get high.......but the occassional non-scrub is okay. Also, squad batles.......fucking awesome.

Okay, so yesterday Pak, Twisted, and I decided to mess around with with guerilla mode, because Guillermo was a disconnecting douche. We went two waves and picked up a random who, when ge joined party and started talking, was pretty non-scrub.
Anyway, here's a rough breakdown. There are 50 waves. Waves 1, 11, 21, etc...every tenth wave, is a stealth transfer wave......basically right out of the single player. You can target, sync shot, the whole sneaky bit, while you make your way to the wave HQ.....of which there are two per level.
After taking the HQ, you start 9 waves of active combat. I think Pak said it best while we were playing.....it was some serious Black Hawk Down shit. Very, very intense.....and a shitload of fun as you basically protect the HQ building/hut from attackers. As you advance, you get more people rushing you, you get guys with Riot shields, snipers and RPG's from rooftops.....and trust me, nothing says "holy shit" like watching your character literally get blasted across the room by a too-close RPG.
I've played Gears Horde mode, Zombies, Spec Ops......basically every shooter that has you wiping out waves of enemies.....and can honestly say that this one has been the single best experience out of all of them. I want to say it took us almost 2 hours......but was worth every second.

I played this a bunch at the release event at game stop. I got to wave 26 with some he kids I knew from work. They were surprised the old IT Guy could play. I was air striking and predators like crazy. My buddy who manages the store got run over by an armored vehicle haha.

I picked it up last night after I delivered at a walmart in Colorado but haven't had but a few minutes to play it so all I've really done is that first tutorial/intro mission and played around with gunsmith a bit. Yeah, I'm baiting them with frags and/or incendiary grenades on one side, destroying the shield guys, and turn around to watch Pak just rushing in and meleeing them. Was a riot. "Only Pak....."
As for 2, was fucking hilarious, because none of us had drones, so we were blind and trying to spot people through spectator mode.
My favorite moment was waves 49 and 50. Explosions rocking the building nonstop, all four of us hollering out, everyone dropping rockets/airdrops, massive mayhem, and we still pulled out without a death.
I'm definitely down for trying out some of the other maps.

This question is probably going to be aimed at Jack since he seems most into this game right now but what's the story with the match trigger? I've been playing around in gunsmith and the firing range (awesome feature btw, being able to swap out parts and go right into a firing range to test them out) and I'm just not seeing any difference with the match trigger. In real life i understand the difference but in game i'm not seeing any change, for better or worse, from the semi auto trigger. I've tried it in a few different weapons and still no noticeable difference. Am I just not able to pull the trigger fast enough to see a difference or am I looking for a difference in the wrong place?

It's a sensitive trigger meaning single-shot for light pull and auto for full squeeze.

you're thinking of the 2 stage trigger, and that's only available for a few weapons
the match trigger is available for almost every weapon and is supposed to have higher sensitivity/lighter trigger pull, but i'm not feeling a difference in any of the weapons i've tried thus far
....google searching did pull up one person saying it literally is lighter trigger pull, as in you only have to press the fire button half way down. That could make sense as to why i feel no difference since the PS3 fire button is R1 rather than R2 so there isn't any "pull" to it to begin with. So if that is true then PS3 players will have no practical use for the match trigger since the other triggers will function just as fast?

Hey guys so I'm going to set aside this separate forum it will be easier for myself to manage the squad and what not. There are squad challenges and things that we can accomplish together and have some squad battles in the future as well. Right now I am the only one that can send invites (I am unaware if they will allow Lieutenants to do the same in the future.) If you require a squad invite the only requirement is that you are a member of the site and are active on the forums. Same rules apply for ELITE although there are no OPS etc. We just ask that you are participating and helping out when necessary. All in all we can becoming the biggest force on the net if we continue our dominance in all clan/community based games. I look forward to gaming with all of you!

As for your leader situation....LOL....always choose your leaders wisely! We had a guy in our ranks early on named Shrimpy88. He wound up as the clan leader for MAG. Then one day...blammo! He was gone and never heard from again.
In the end it didn't matter because MAG died off (or did it? LOL.). But the lesson learned by everyone is to make sure the leader is someone who is going to stick around for the long haul, or is going to be willing to hand over the mantle of leader if he/she has to depart the AO for an extended period.
But I digress...back to your regularly scheduled conversation! :lever:

Yes. And I haven't noticed a downside at all, as far as I've seen, there is zero reason whatsoever to equip the standard trigger pack. I have Match on every weapon, semi-auto and full.

None, the starter triggers are the semi or full auto. The only down side to the Match, is the fact you have to spend a credit to get it.

No sir. Maybe one day or when the new one comes out. I like the feel of the Xbox controller I think the offset sticks is more comfortable. It would be cool if we can play games multi-platform like CS global (I think) is trying to do.

There is an MW3 controller for the PS3 that is configured almost exactly like an Xbox controller except a little smaller. I got one to play MW3 on my PS3 with Lady but haven't been on it much =(

Yea, I bought one awhile back, not the MW3 version but a different brand. And the sensitivity is total crap. Makes it completely useless... :censored:
I still need to pick up a copy. Was there limited edition available?
