As we get closer to the release of Call of Duty[emoji768]: Advanced Warfare, it’s time to start thinking about transitioning to the Advanced Warfare Call of Duty[emoji768] App, currently in development to release alongside the game on November 3rd for Day Zero Early Access participants.

New Game, New Clans

Clans in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be independent from Clans in Call of Duty[emoji768]: Ghosts. Don’t worry, we are going to help you transition your current Call of Duty: Ghosts Clan name and roster to Advanced Warfare.

To make way for new features and encourage a stronger connection between Clan members, Clans in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be required to exist within a single network.

If your Call of Duty: Ghosts Clan is already network-specific, then you will not need to do anything. We will automatically transition the Clan for you. If you are in a Cross-Network clan, there are some things you need to do.

What is a Cross-Network Clan

Cross-Network Clans have at least one member that plays on a separate network from the rest of his or her Clan.

For example, if your entire Clan plays on Xbox Live, except for one Clan member who plays on Playstation Network, then your Clan is considered “Cross-Network.”

How Your Clan Will be Affected

Beginning on September 25, 2014, if your Clan is Cross-Network, the Clan Leader must select the network of his or her choice in order to properly transition to the new Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Clan. Once a network is selected, you will have successfully reserved your Clan name, tag and emblem in Call of Duty[emoji768]: Advanced Warfare. Members that have linked their accounts to the Clan Leader’s chosen network will automatically be added to the new Advanced Warfare Clan.

Any members who are not a part of the selected network will not be moved to the Advanced Warfare Clan. However, when the app launches, they will be able to create their own Clan or join a new one.

As mentioned, if everyone in your Clan already belongs to just a single network, you’re good to go! Your Clan name and member roster will automatically transition to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare with the same name and roster.

Select Your Network

Starting September 25th, Clan Leaders may select their network of choice for their new Clan in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare at a soon to be announced web URL.

Roster Lock

All Clans, regardless of network status, have until October 23rd, 2014 to make the necessary changes to their Clans. At that point, we will take a snapshot of each Call of Duty: Ghosts Clan and, where applicable, mirror that Clan in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

Are we going to allow people getting this game to join the clan prior to the cut off date so when it releases we are ready to roll? Several of us have stepped away from the COD clan to allow better odds during clan wars. Now that we are preparing for the next game we may want to re-enroll to make the transition easier. Just a thought.

A month is a pretty long wait if you have both systems. I'm pre-downloading the Atlas Pro version, which includes the season pass. I would be pretty pissed if I had the season pass, but could not download it because of the system I have.

Another good thing to think about before choosing a system to play it on is to see which system your friends/every one else is getting it on.

Hey Bravo I just got this all figured out and applied to the clan. I'm tdy so for those that have been sending invites I've tried accepting them but I'm on ghetto internet so my Nat is restricting me from joining groups (funny note my auto correct put testicles instead of restrict here the first time, lol). I should be home next week so hopefully I can actually party up with people and not be red baring every match.

I have started the campaign, I agree it is fucking epic. :D Have not started the multiplayer yet.
