6 months after it's release, will advanced warfare sell more or less than COD:ghosts?

I think it will sell more. I think the draw will be the campaign more than anything

I think it will sell less or roughly the same. I just don't see a huge new thing to draw new players in, and there are lots of other games to draw people away even if they aren't CoD-killers (though admittedly the poor launch of BF4 probably helped this next CoD offering more than anything).

They're estimating that it will sell less because of the negative effect Ghosts had on the Call of Duty brand.

Me personally though, I think that it will do the same or slightly better than Ghosts.

What negative effect?

That it was simply shite!

I think it will sell better than ghosts just cause of Kevin spacey's face!

Agree about Kevin Spacey. Don't agree that Ghosts was shite.

Agreed. I think it will do better if it's a better game. I'll be surprised if it does as well in pre-sales as ghost did. I feel the same way about the next battlefield too.

Everything had been so wash, rinse, repeat with a COD lately I'll be surprised if it does better. I think people are tired of doing the same thing over and over on different maps... Oh who am I kidding it's probably going to be the best selling COD of all time because everyone is addicted to the concept of the game.

I personally don't have a huge problem with it, other than the fast time to kill.

However, most people see it as the worse CoD ever. Bad word of mouth really hurt the game. I think it was the first CoD that didn't sell better than the previous game.

First that didn't break day one sales. Lot of that was impacted by the console launch though. To date, they're apparently the best selling next-gen game, and have done very well with overall sales.

Tack that in with Battlefield moving its launch, and there's no reason to expect it to drop further.
