Hey everyone just wanting to apologize for being off the radar for a while. I have been quite busy with school and the two kiddos. I also have really been enjoying Madden and really haven't wanted to play any other games much. I have Destiny, Warriors 3, and Shadow of Mordor that I really haven't touched yet. Either way, the school schedule is gonna be busy until Xmas and I am having shoulder surgery on the 22nd so ill be pretty laid up for Extra Life, we'll see how that goes. I am still here though and I hope everyone is doing well.

Good luck. What are you having done to your shoulder? I just had surgery on my right one back at the end of May.

Speaking of Madden, if you've got any Elite cards you wanna get rid of, we can set up a trade.... ;p

My right shoulder has a nice size SLAP tear that has effected the bicep tendon (where it attaches to the shoulder) and so its been a fun 2 years dealing with. I've been told by 2 doctors that i need surgery and 1 said i didn't for my right shoulder... The VA went with the one that said no, what a surprise.

Party up with us sometime. The guys Brandon and I play with are pretty legit. I'm by far the worst player lol... I do have a lot of good players though.

That's exactly what happened to me. Tore my labrum (slap) weight-lifting and it's been much a nuisance lately. Basically the right side of body feels like I've constantly been carrying a backpack for days. It's orthroscopic surgery so hopefully I'm good to kind of manage myself for extra life.

I tore mine taking the .50cal off the bird one day. SLAP tear and tendentious of the bicep.

LOL seems to be the common injury, I tore the entire front half of my labrum. Took over a year to get diagnosed, was told in Hawaii that it was arthritis after the MRI than finally got to Ga and they gave me the correct diagnoses. He cleaned up some of the scar tissue from it, ground down the bone above it, made an anchor point and moved my bicep tendon to it. You should be good to game a day or two after as long as you don't move around a bunch. By week 3 I was stir crazy and started building an AR from scratch when I wasn't gaming and watching tv. Make sure you start working on breaking up the scars as soon as they let you. I had civilians that didn't tell me about it and I'm trying to do it now, they are just solid and cause pain in the joint when they rub. If you have any other questions hit me up.

Definitely break up the scar tissue as soon as they clear you. It was the one thing we emphasized when I used to teach medical massage. It will get the scar fibers to lay in a more parallel path instead of a random mix-mosh and will give you more flexibility and range of motion. It will also decrease any rehabilitation time if you need it.
