Civilize the Mind. But make Savage the Body.

The warrior must have two key tools in his or her arsenal: A sound mind and the ability to exercise violence of action. It’s about knowing when to fight and what to do when it happens. Not all conflict requires physical action, and not all seemingly peaceful moments require diplomacy. An individual without intelligence on the battlefield is merely a thug, and nobody can claim to be a warrior if they are unable to fight. You must have both elements working for you.

That’s what separates you from the rest. That’s what makes you the complete package. Violence is not something you seek, but it is something you’re prepared for. You’ve trained both your body and your mind. You’re willing to use your words just as quickly as you’re willing to pull the trigger. You’ve trained your body to face the struggles of combat.

The reason you’ve honed in on these capabilities is because some people can’t. Some people are good with their words, but will falter when their foe is only willing to use violence. Others instinctively want to war when it’s avoidable. You’re there to stop the violent from preying on the weak and guide the weak when they must fight. And in all of this, you’ve prepared yourself.

You understand—like the ancient Chinese proverb states—that one must civilize the mind, but make savage the body.

Bad things to Bad people

You’re a bad mother— SHUT YO’ MOUTH!

Society doesn’t understand you. It’s not because you’re some sort of blood-crazed psychopath who likes to prey on the weak. They don’t understand you because you’re ready to put down the blood-crazed psychopaths who prey on the weak. Sounds backwards, doesn’t it? But it’s true.

They see you in the same light because all they see is violence. They see it from the nutjob and they see it from you. They can’t distinguish you two apart because any hint of violence is bad to them. They don’t understand because they’ve blocked it out of their minds. They don’t understand that bad people do bad things to good people—until it’s too late and they’re lying on their bedroom floor covered in their own piss, shit, and blood, wishing that they had seized the many opportunities they had to defend themselves.

You’re a good person. You’re a good person who is willing to do bad things to those bad people. That means you’re willing to beat someone within an inch of their life and wait for the police to arrive because you have them subdued and it’s the right thing to do. You’re willing to pull out your sidearm and put two to the chest and one to the head because shooting to wound isn’t going to cut it when your life and other lives are on the line.

Some of you may be reading this and cringing at the blunt language. That means you’re a good person. Others may be reading this and cheering on. That means you’re a good person who is willing to do bad things to bad people. The latter won’t be a victim. The latter will do everything in his or her power to stop others from being a victim.

The bad people will always be there. You’ll meet them for the challenge.

Attack Life

You’re going to die one day. We spend a lot of time avoiding that fact. Don’t. Accept it. Accept that you’re going to die and, for the majority of us, what you did will most likely be forgotten.

The best thing you can do is go full throttle. Work your ass off. Build something. Accumulate money and knowledge. Let your family benefit from it. Take risks—financial and physical ones. Have stories about what you’ve done and where you’ve been, not what you want and where you want to go.

Your main fear in life should be the idea of laying on your death bed with regrets. You owe it to yourself. You owe it to your family. You owe it to mankind. Push now so you don’t regret later.

Attack life. It’s going to kill you anyway.

Your time in uniform is over. But your watch never ends.(For the Retired)

You’ve done your time. You have that DD214 in hand. You can kick your feet up, close your eyes, and let somebody else deal with the problem—but you won’t. You won’t because you can’t. There’s something ingrained in you. You have to protect. It’s why you joined the military in the first place and, even though your contractual obligations to Uncle Same are over, it will never leave you.

You, more than most, understand that it’s a dangerous world out there, so you never close your eyes. Whether you’re at a new job or in class, you’re always aware of those dangers, and you have taken small precautions to be ready for any crisis that may arise. The others will remain complacent—you won’t.

Your time in uniform is over… But your watch never ends.

The Sheep Dog(one of my personal favorites)

“We know that the sheep live in denial; that is what makes them sheep. They do not want to believe that there is evil in the world. They can accept the fact that fires can happen, which is why they want fire extinguishers, fire sprinklers, fire alarms and fire exits throughout their kids’ schools. But many of them are outraged at the idea of putting an armed police officer in their kid’s school. Our children are dozens of times more likely to be killed, and thousands of times more likely to be seriously injured, by school violence than by school fires, but the sheep’s only response to the possibility of violence is denial. The idea of someone coming to kill or harm their children is just too hard, so they choose the path of denial.

The sheep generally do not like the sheepdog. He looks a lot like the wolf. He has fangs and the capacity for violence. The difference, though, is that the sheepdog must not, cannot and will not ever harm the sheep. Any sheepdog who intentionally harms the lowliest little lamb will be punished and removed. The world cannot work any other way, at least not in a representative democracy or a republic such as ours.

Still, the sheepdog disturbs the sheep. He is a constant reminder that there are wolves in the land. They would prefer that he didn’t tell them where to go, or give them traffic tickets, or stand at the ready in our airports in camouflage fatigues holding an M-16. The sheep would much rather have the sheepdog cash in his fangs, spray paint himself white, and go, “Baa.”

Until the wolf shows up. Then the entire flock tries desperately to hide behind one lonely sheepdog.” – Lt. Col. Grossman

Neptunes Throne(for my Navy brothers)

Tip of the cap to all those shellbacks floating around out there on the ocean's vast expanse. The front of the shirt says, “Imperivm Neptvni Regis,” connoting the domain which you sailors dominate - The Empire of King Neptune.

To those mariners,

Courageously sailing waters unknown

Those brave with weeping mothers at home

Sing your song and let it be known

“I’ve crossed the line into Neptune’s throne”

Run towards the gunfire

Normal people run or hide when they hear gunfire.

That’s what every instinct in your body tells you to do. Get away. Don’t get harmed. Preserve life.

We don’t. We charge the ambush, run towards the gunfire, return aggression with aggression.

One of my best friends, now an elite operator, put it better than I have ever heard it put after his first trip to Afghanistan in 2001:

“When the enemy starts firing from their ambush positions, they expect you to run, they expect you to cower, and they expect you to die. They do not expect 210 pounds of assaulter running straight at them firing precisely, alongside three equally physical specimens, looking like the four horsemen of the f*cking apocalypse, with a ton more guys right behind them. The message we send is simple: You want to kill me bro? You want to kill my boys? You’re gonna have to f*cking earn it. Cause we sure as shit aren’t backing down.”

If you look closely at the news you see it every day: the Iraq vet that charges the guy with the pistol in the airport. The Afghanistan vet who disarms a knife attacker. It isn’t that the American Soldier isn’t afraid. It isn’t that he doesn’t value his life or that he is brainwashed. It’s that he understand the reality of the world.

There are only two options in life. Fight or flight.

Most people run. Almost all people run. But not us.

The difference between us and everyone else is that we run towards the gunfire.

And that makes all the difference.

T Rex Hates hand grenades

T-Rex is undoubtedly one of the most ferocious dinosaurs around. He's large, fast, and has a roar that could humble a lion. But unfortunately, because of evolutionary reasons, T-Rex was born with arms shorter than a chihuahua.

It causes T-Rex great problems on the grenade range. That is why T-Rex hates hand grenades.

Pretending im Not excited

If you’re like me, you watch show after show featuring the Zombie Apocalypse and wince as the main characters make bone-headed mistake after bone-headed mistake, exposing themselves to the zombie threat for no good reason, ill-equipped to dispatch the slow-moving enemy, and not quite grasping the fact that if everyone just settled down and gathered a baseline amount of food and water, they could easily defend themselves for a few weeks while the zombies rotted away to uselessness.

This is basic Zombie Theory people.

Now I can understand if you live in France and have nothing but creamy foods and bad accents to protect yourself, but if you live in America, the zombie apocalypse should last like 8 minutes.

Why, you ask?

Because we have guns. Lots of guns.

Of the 875 million guns in existence, we own 270 million of them.

That’s right, people, the U.S. of A. owns one third of the world’s guns.

That’s just freaking awesome.

So bring it on zombies. Bring your slow-moving, rotting selves to the American suburbs and see how it works out for you.

I actually think it would be good for America. Neighbor working hand in hand again without worrying over petty things like politics, status, and whether golf is actually a sport or a game. Just one man or woman covering another with suppressive fire while their neighbors move to the high ground with a couple of high powered rifles and a bag of cheese sandwiches, the way it was meant to be.

But there is one challenge: The Hardest Part of the Zombie Apocalypse Will Be Pretending I’m Not Excited.

Sing your death Song

When your time comes to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home.

Be fearless. Live for your life as if every day is your last. Challenge limits. Accept everything for what it is and never look back.

Ticking Time Bomb

One of the greatest travesties the GWOT generation has faced is the condescending welcome home from a substantial portion of the American population. “Thank you for your service” means less and less with the veteran unemployment rate as high as it is. Every sensationalized media report about returning veterans committing violent crimes is a punch in the gut to the majority who, statistically speaking, are safer than their non-veteran peers.

At no time in the history of American warfare has the population had so much access to her veterans yet understood so little about them. So instead of seeking knowledge, they’ve lashed out at the veteran population—choosing the hyped up media narrative and exaggerated Hollywood portrayal over simply talking to the actual people who fought the conflict, came home, and desperately sought to reintegrate.

Every veteran has PTSD, according to the media. Every veteran has a violent strand of PTSD, according to the mindless sheep who believe everything they see on television.

You know what? F ‘em. If they’re going to stubbornly hold that position, we might as well be sarcastic dicks about it.

At any time, in any place, and for no good reason, I might just kill everyone in a twelve block radius. Seriously, I'm a ticking time bomb of death and destruction and I may or may not have an incurable case of the PTSD. Please treat me like a second-class citizen. I enjoy it.

School for Wayward Boys(As an Instructor here i can relate lol)

There’s a special little place for degenerates like you. For whatever reason, you thought it would be a good decision to join the Infantry, Cavalry, Armor, or Airborne. Now you’re going to school, buddy. Your ass is definitely going to school.

The Ft. Benning School for Wayward Boys is a happy place. You’ll get fed – maybe not consistently, but you’ll get fed.

Do you like nature? Good. The Ft. Benning School for Wayward Boys offers sightseeing for every conceivable insect in the South… Especially the ones that like to bite you.

You’ll also be treated to some of the most caring instructors to grace military academia. These men will prepare you for war while eloquently calling you names like “fuck face,” “shit for brains,” and “stupid.”

Are you afraid of sacrificing the civilian sleeping comforts you’ve become accustomed to? Don’t worry, we promise you only the finest pine needles to sleep on.

And lucky you. You’re about to get treated to some of the worst heat and humidity known to man. This is a great way to learn how to hydrate properly – lest Doc ends up giving you one of his famous silver bullet injections.

Yes, you can have all of these things and more at the Ft. Benning School for Wayward Boys.

Embrace the Suck

Anyone who has served in a demanding military job has faced thatmoment. It’s that moment when you’ve been beaten and battered in every physical and mental way imaginable.

Your body is beginning to break down from the physical weight on your back. You’re so exhausted that you’re unable to form a cohesive thought, much less speak in a coherent manner. Hunger and sleep deprivation has overtaken you. The only thing you have plenty of is water and ammo—two thing that are adding more mass to your already aching body. Then it begins to rain. Mud builds up and you can feel yourself beginning to lose your footing.

For those who have been there, you reach, at that very moment, a sublime level of clarity. You have two choices: quit or just sit back and accept things for what they are. You choose the latter. All you can do is smirk.

Everything has gone to shit and there’s nothing you can do about it. Embrace the suck.

Two Types of Pain

The man who claims wisdom is almost always a fool, but one thing we can promise: You will never regret pushing harder, refusing to quit, and enduring that which others would never endure. Fighting through something, regardless of the challenge, builds character and becomes habit. Fighting through challenges leads to toughness, which leads to success over time. As such, success is a habit.

Likewise, quitting is a habit. Once you decide it is okay to fail, it is that much easier the next time to do the same. You don't hold yourself to the same standard. You no longer think about not quitting, but when it is acceptable to quit.

I've participated in hundreds of combat sports matches. I barely remember a victory. I remember every loss. Two in particular, I didn't prepare properly for, and to this day, while my opponents surely have forgotten about the matches, they nag at me.

The penalty for me is simply slight aggravation many years later. The penalty for our troops can be exponentially more severe.

It is critical that we think of training as absolutely essential. It is not okay to half-ass an exercise. It is not okay to be relatively fit, rather than truly fit. It is not okay to be a decent shot, when you could be an excellent shot.

We fully realize that at times, attaining the highest level is miserable. We know that especially with op-tempo as high as it is, training may even seem silly for the seasoned veteran. But we all have friends who will never come home, and the last thing any of us would ever want is knowing we could have sweat a little more in training and saved blood downrange.

There are two types of pain: The temporary pain of training, or the permanent pain of failure. Choose wisely.

Alicorn

You know what's more badass than a horse?

A horse with a magical bayonet attached to its head that attracts hot chicks, that's what.

It's a fact that the only thing cooler than a Unicorn is an Alicorn, because it's Airborne.

If you're asking, "What's an Alicorn?" then here's the answer: It's a Unicorn with wings.

And before you chime in, NO that's not a Pegasus. A Pegasus has no horn. What is this? Amateur hour?

And also, I'm drunk.

Service over Self

“What unites them is an almost reckless desire to test themselves in the most extreme circumstances. In many respects the life they have chosen is a complete rejection of the hyped, consumerist American dream as it is dished out in reality TV shows and pop-song lyrics. They’ve chosen asceticism over consumption. Instead of celebrating their individualism, they’ve subjugated theirs to the collective will of an institution. Their highest aspiration is self-sacrifice over self-preservation.” – Evan Wright, Generation Kill

Sacrifice and service are not dead in this country. It’s easy, by simply reading the news or, heaven forbid, reading the comment section, to feel that way. We’re constantly bombarded with examples of selfish behavior by politicians, celebrities, and the general public.

I say again: Sacrifice and service are not dead in this country. It’s a low number of people joining the military, but it’s a consistent one. In thirteen years of war, slots for combats arms positions have never suffered. Young people still want to fight. They still want to serve and give something back.

Some join because they’re idealists. Some join purely to fight. Either way, they’re giving themselves up to the greater good—the organization and the people in that organization—when they take the oath of enlistment.

That’s you. You purged yourself of material luxuries. You disregarded the notion that to be an American is to do what’s best for yourself. You became a part of something bigger. Your loyalties are to the people you share your hardships with.

You’ve chosen service over self

Freedom is NOT bought with gold.

Free people have always struggled. That’s what it takes to remain free. It’s not something that’s just going to fall into your lap. It’s not something that’s just handed to you. The joy of liberty must be fought for in, often times, awful situations. Everyone is willing to bask in it, but few are willing to maintain it.

You are the one who suits up and moves into the fog as the people behind you sit in the sun. You are the one who must kiss your family goodbye as others hold theirs close. You understand that there are people who hate your existence simply because you exist.

There will come a point in any every civilization’s existence when the coffers run low. Politicking and appeasing will no longer suffice. Rough people will have to unsheathe their weapons and defend everything you know against those who want to take it away.

You understand that freedom cannot be purchased with gold, but it can be won and maintained with steel.

Suck it up!

Sometimes you’ve hit your limit. Sometime you feel like you can’t go any further. Sometimes you just want to quit. When that time comes, you must tell yourself something: Suck it up and drive one.

Whether you’re in the gym, on a ruck march, on your last hour of patrol, or dealing with a personal matter that’s causing duress, you can never quit. That little voice in the back of your head doesn’t want you to. Listen to it. Quitting is one of the worst things you can do. Once you start, it’s hard to stop. Don’t quit!

Freedom is the Sacrifice.

Americans are constantly being inundated with the notion that to be an American his to have a vast amount of material objects and a whatever-goes attitude about life. A substantial portion of the population seeks instant gratification over the delayed kind. They want it now, without hassle or loss. Then, when they do face minor examples of adversity, they lash out and ask, “Why me?” instead of “What can I do to changes this?”

We are witnessing a generation that has become complacent. A country that is drowning itself in its own tears and self-pity. Nothing is ever good enough. We’re not happy with our cars, our TVs, or ourselves. The overwhelming majority of these school shooters come from good families and never wanted for anything. It’s an angry generation with no real reason to feel angry.

The Greatest Generation isn’t the Greatest Generation because they grew up in the depression and fought off Hitler, Mussolini, and Imperial Japan. They’re the Greatest Generation because, after years of domestic hardship and foreign war, they came home and rebuilt America. They went right back to work. They wanted work. They wanted a slice of the pie—not the entire thing.

With every subsequent generation we see a shift. More expect results without any willingness to work for them. That leaves us in the present. The millennials are having a hard time coping with what many in the rest of the world deal with every day. To put it simply: They’re too privileged. Whiny, privileged cry babies who don’t know their head from their ass.

That’s not you. You understand that freedom and prosperity are things that must be fought for. We must fight for them in our communities. We must fight for them at the national level. And, yes, sometimes we must pick up a rifle and fight for them abroad.

Being in the military isn’t just about shooting guns and making things go boom. It’s about sacrificing yourself for the greater good, and it’s about learning that good things to do come without having to work for it.

You’ve committed yourself to this. You’ve chosen the way of the warrior over the way of the decadent. Don’t be jealous of them. Embrace your path. Live it. Sacrifice for them and comfort yourself in their safety.

Freedom is a sacrifice that far too many regard as privilege

Warriors are not born

Most people never have to do anything truly hard their entire lives. Their idea of overcoming adversity is to pull an all-night study session, or to work a little overtime, or not be able to afford the leopard-skin pants they’ve always wanted and actually have to save for something. Rather than get the instant gratification for their every need not being attended to. Kids aren’t allowed to lose so there is a trophy for everyone. Hurtful words are now being equated to physical violence, which is comical. We go to war and only.45 percent of the population answers the call over eleven years. There is no rise in taxes to cover the two wars we were engaged in so the average citizen doesn’t suffer at all.

Increasingly, we’re told that we are the smartest, most handsome, most amazing people in the whole wide world. Even if we haven’t done a goddamn thing to earn that status.

In short, people have no idea what sacrifice looks like anymore. Then when their given the tiniest window into the military world and they see kids reaching physical exhaustion, getting yelled at, getting emotionally brought down, they just see cruelty. They don’t see the value, because they don’t know what we know.

That toughness is earned. It has to be earned. You can be naturally smart and naturally athletic. You can be born with every advantage. But when you’re getting shot at, none of that matters. All that matters is the work you’ve put in, the skill you’ve acquired, and your willingness to fight though it all and never quit, no matter what.

In that moment and that moment alone, can you realize the futility of the participation trophy. It’s first place or nothing.

Warriors are not born. They are made through hard work, suffering, and sacrifice.

Toughness is earned.

Hey, champ. Did you have a fun night last night? Did you get drunk? Did you get laid? Was it a wicked good time with your friends? Good. I’m glad to hear that you got to spend some of your hard-earned money on some weekday festivities. Oh, by the way, we have PT formation in FIVE FUCKIN’ MINUTES!

Get your ass up, get those smooth sailin’ running panties on and head to formation. We have a seven mile run this morning and you better believe First Sergeant doesn’t give a damn if you’re hungover or still drunk.

Ah yes, the glorious morning hangover run. We’ve all been there. You stink like a whiskey/rum/bourbon/vodka/beer/(insert your favorite alcoholic beverage here______) distillery. You’re wobbling around like you have a bad case of vertigo. Your head is pounding. And you’re on the verge of puking all over the place.

Normal society tells us that you’re supposed to call the boss and tell him you can’t make it in. But this isn’t normal society. This is the military. Your ass is going on that run. In fact, for some of you sick bastards, you may even be looking forward to it. Consider it a cleansing.

It’s that beautiful mixture of youth and an already trained body that helps you get through that run. You may blow chunks, but you’re going to complete it. And after you make it through the pain, you can hold your head high and tell yourself, “Man, I can’t wait to do this again tomorrow, because I PT best when hungover.”

Fear Not Death

Some people want to live their miserable lives escaping the inevitable. They want to pretend they can stop what all men face. Whether conflict or old age strikes, you will leave this earth.

The Viking had no such illusions. They understood the violence of the world, so they struck first. At shores all across Europe, the Norse Horde landed on beaches and laid waste to all those who tried to stop them. But they weren’t just blood-thirsty savages. These people brought a level of trade Europe had never seen. They brought a system of laws that had sustained their successful society. They brought the fear of God.

And to Odin they paid homage—their god of battle, victory, wisdom, poetry, prophecy, war, and death.

Fear not death, for the hour of your doom is set and none may escape it.

Never Forget

History is a constant battle between viewpoints. The way things went down may differ depending on who you’re talking to. Never is that more evident than with the Vietnam era in America. The babyboomers, sensing their mortality, are in a rush for their piece of the American historical pie. And there lies one of the most contentious subjects: The Vietnam War.

From coming home only to be ridiculed and disrespected, to the current viewpoint of a generation that was sadly mistreated, the Vietnam Veterans of America are in a constant struggle to claim their own legacy. Historians who refused to participate in their war are attempting to write their story. Americans continue to unwittingly perceive them as broken.

Glory stories of the Haight-Ashbury experience conveniently leave out the decadence and failures of the flower power movement while simultaneously ignoring the bravery and courage that was seen in Vietnam. Those who protested not only the war itself, but the people fighting it, are now the ones writing the complicated political aspects of that conflict.

But at the end of the day, they weren’t there. Whether they avoided it on moral grounds or cowardice, they’re telling the story of those who went. This is a travesty.

Those who came home from the war didn’t enter academia in droves. They silently reentered the real work force. They assisted in American growth in the 80s. They answered the call to serve their nation just like they had done in uniform.

Some carried signs in protest. Others carried their burden in silence

An Old Snakes Venom

Physical representations of a bigger idea are only as good as the people who understand them. Art holds no importance if the public can’t see it. Professional athletes are worthless without an audience who is invested in the game. Flags are nothing if the persons, places, or things they represent aren’t worth a damn.

The Gadsden Flag is an enduring representation of American freedom. From its origins in 18th century to 2014, it remains a symbol of man’s struggle against the government—the collective free against the collective powerful.

Like those who first carried it as a statement of freedom, millions of Americans continue to utilize the Gadsden Flag as a representation of independence and their willingness to defend/secure it at all cost.

The flag itself means nothing. But the spirit of the people who carry it means everything. There’s a reason why the Gadsden continues to inspire. An old snake’s venom is no less lethal.

Never Quit

The majority of human beings will never know what their bodies are capable of. They will never allow themselves to cross that line of agonizing pain into the realm of euphoric triumph. They’ll simply quit when the going gets tough—opting to live a life of ease instead of facing the obligatory pain one needs to build character.

That’s not you. You push. You push because you understand the work it takes to achieve results. You understand that honing your body in training will prepare it for the moment when everything is on the line.

You’ve wanted to quit in training just like you’ve wanted to quit during game time. But you don’t. You keep going because you can’t let those around you down… You can’t let yourself down.

You’ve been afraid, you’ve been exhausted, you’ve wanted to quit more times than you can remember. You just didn’t.

Stay Sharp

A man can never have too much whiskey, too many books, or too much ammunition.

Are you expecting a thorough analysis of the previous statement? There’s no need for it. It’s really that simple. Stay buzzed, stay educated, and stay ready.

America asks a lot from her servicemembers. We’ve been embroiled in the GWOT going on thirteen years now. Before that was the Balkans. Before that was Somalia. Before that was Desert Storm. Before that was Panama. Before that was— You get the point. We seem to be constantly engaged in conflict.

When you come home the public may hail you as hero, or they may hate you. It doesn’t matter. It wasn’t about them. It was about the people you shared the experience with. It was about the ones who had your back when your life was on the line.

I went to war for my country. But I fought for my brothers.

The Templar Code

Legend and myth have turned the Knights Templar into a larger-than-life brotherhood that many believe still lives to this day in the form of the Freemasons. What is definitive is that they were widely regarded as the toughest and most skilled warriors during the Crusades, and they performed their duties while trying to live to the highest standard possible.

The Templar Code set a standard of conduct for warriors which still resonates today: Be without fear in the face of your enemies. Stand brave and upright, that the Lord may love thee. Speak the truth always, even if it means your death. Protect the helpless and do no wrong.

It was a point of demarcation – a written expectation that a knight must wage more than war – he must do so with honor, and that honor was worth more than his life. While the order does not live on today in any powerful manifestation, the belief in a sense of honor does. You can see it in the Ranger Creed, the Army Values, the Special Forces Creed, and many others throughout the United States Military, as well as those of our allies. It was an important elevation in the mindset of the warrior that he must live to a higher standard than those around him – it wasn’t enough that he win wars – how he won them mattered

They’re two different instruments of havoc for different scenarios. They can kill you. They can maim you. They can make your ears bleed. They can make you [EXPLETIVE DELETED] your pants. One will drop you to your knees and leave you more discombobulated than a drunk deer standing on the Autobahn while a vehicle comes barreling at you, brights on and horn blaring, at 100 mph. The other will simply rip your body to shreds.

Either way, they’re the best of pals. But like all friends, sometimes they get on each other’s nerves.

Mr. Frag: “You’re loud.”

Mr. Flashbang: “You blow.”
