Road trip

I going on another road trip from San Diego, ca to NYC and good stopes you guys recommend on the way 20 days leave only staying in the city for 4 days let me know

How long do you want it to take?

When I EAS'd, I drove from SD to Chicago but was in a hurry to get home so I didn't end up stopping anywhere after all and took the most direct (boring) route.

You can head up through Colorado and hit up some beautiful country there, South Dakota has the Black Mountains and Mt Rushmore, you could go see the Grand Canyon on the way as well.... I guess it all depends on how far out of the way you're willing to go. I don't remember exactly what my "scenic" route option had been, I believe I was going to leave out of SD, head to the Grand Canyon, drive up through Utah and Colorado, head up to South Dakota then through MN and WI to the UP and subsequently lower peninsula of Michigan.

Also what time of year are you doing this? Before the white stuff starts falling?

Me and the wife did a cross country back in February, from L.A. To Massachusetts to Savannah Ga. The places I remember stopping off of the top of my head, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Petrified Forest, the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Cadillac Ranch in Texas. By St. Louis I think we were tired and changed from going to Savannah First to Massachusetts and the cold kept us from stopping to many other places after that. Yosemite is on our bucket list. Depending on what you are into there has to be tons of stuff to see.
