Xbox One. Hopefully there'll be a lot of us playing the game. There used to be a lot of us playing bf4 and I miss that. I hope this Battlefield will bring us back together.

We still play BF4 on Xbox One on Thursday nights and some of us play Monday nights. Myself, Chinook, Papmurph are usually on almost every night.
If I do end up picking this game up, it'll be on Xbox One.

Is Premium $60 this time around? It was $50 the last 2 times - $60 isn't really a deal for DLC. That being said, everything else looks pretty standard. Still not getting it.

Hard Line looks like a game I might like, but I've been EAed too many times to jump into any BF games right out the gate. I'll look into it later when the price drops and bugs are fixed.

I enjoyed the beta as well and I think I'd really like the game... I hate playing multiplayer alone and if no one else is getting the game or at least waiting then I think I will too. I play on Xbox one though... If you're thinking of getting it for something other than PC.

I don't like not being able to see who's in my squad and it seems like bullet damage/player health is the same in hardcore as it is in normal. I've only played Conquest so far... Gonna hit up heists and a few others later tonight and see how I like those. The story seems good so far too.

I've tried hardcore once on this game and would rather play normal. I just don't have fun playing hardcore on any game. I would rather look at a map. Maybe they'll make the setting better for you guys.

I loved hardcore mode in BF4. No mini map doesn't bother me at all when I've got a good group of guys communicating and sticking together... It's just, not being able to tell who's what class and where they are that's frustrating. It takes away the teamwork aspect of BF.
Also, when I shoot a guy in the chest with a bolt action sniper rifle from 40 yards away, he should hit the ground. No questions asked. Instead he pulls out a 9mm and suppresses me enough to where my other shot misses and he then drops me in four shots! It's like you're super human but not quite because you still get dropped by half a clip from a 9mm but able to withstand a shot in the chest from a bolt action.
I get balancing and they don't want snipers to be OP but hardcore has ALWAYS been one shot kill with bolt actions if your zeroed in. That along with not being able to tell who's in my squad unless I'm dead just ruins the experience.
...maybe once I unlock a more powerful rifle I'll see different results but right now I'm better off sticking with normal mode.

Pc users been bashing it. That's why I don't listen to the gaming community that much and would rather try a game before I judge based on what some keyboard warrior is saying.

how many peeps are actually playing Hardline? I like BF4 but couldn't fully get into it for some reason. As for Hardline, I truly find my self playing it more than COD and BF. I think it needs a few more game modes, but in general I like the concept and the not over the top game feel of it vs BF4. My only big draw back of it now is that when I get online I don't actaully see friends playing it so I am once again stuck with randoms... So any xboxOne out there that want to play hit me up.... theloakii

To me there is literally no difference between this and BF4. So I do not see everyone's hate for the game because this game actually works, where BF4 functioned like a Meth addict.

There is a huge difference: vehicle combat is completely different (no attack helos, jets, tanks, AA, etc).
It's much more CQB focused than the more open battlefield of BF4. Time to kill is much lower than BF3 or BF4 in most cases.
Plus, it's just dumb - cops and robbers shouldn't be in a game called "Battlefield". I'm cool with this game existing and all, but don't call it something that makes no sense.
(Additionally, this game is more suited as a DLC than a full game, though with the price decreases, they may be listening to that)

Console was where it had it's biggest problems. PC had a rough launch, but it was nowhere near as unplayable as console issues. It got much better and is an amazing game now, and has been for a few months (unfortunately too late for most).
Bad Company was okay, but the core Battlefields were better. In my opinion, they should have just kept it a PC release. They risk getting dragged into the CoD muck with the 12-year old Xbox players who have been moving in. Teamwork has gotten worse and worse.

I have to agree with you about the plague of the kiddies coming in and infecting the games and how their being made. They're having to be dumbed down allot to cater to them because they can't grasp the concept of team work.

I've only ever met adults on BF4 on X1. Some kids on hardline but more adults.... I think they've dumbed it down because the audience has changed as it got more popular. I remember telling my buddies about BF2 way back in the day and they were all on Halo and COD. Then Bad Company came and Battlefields popularity grew and people came from Halo and COD expecting a similar experience but didn't get it. So to meet those expectations the devs decided to change up the formula even more. I hate that the maps have shrank over time.

Well, there were tons of kids on 360. Not as many on PC. You don't hear them as much because headsets are less popular on Battlefield, but they are there.
And maps have gotten bigger. Both BF3 and BF4 have had maps larger than anything in BF2 or the Bad Companies.
