I have gotten the chance to play the BFH Beta now and I have to say.... disappointed, I am not a fan of the game modes nor the load outs. The mechanic can't carry a carbine? REALLY? Why do they limit us to certain weapon types? Support with a shotty? I don't think so... I understand now we are dealing with Police/Criminal situations now.. Like you know how the police and criminals will fight over 5 cars driving them really fast around in circles so the other one can't get it? I know it happens everyday but still... But on a serious note. I thought the game was going to be completely different from what they put out in trailers. Not happy with the product they have come up with. What about you guys any opinions on the new installment of Battlefield?

I haven't played it but if they are going back to limited load outs they're going back to the bad company template which I liked how simple it was.

Nothing simple about these load outs man... pain in the butt but once you figure it out its not so bad... Just limited weapons per class...

*UPDATE* After playing Hotwire with Superhawk138 I have changed my opinion on it. I still don't like that the situation would never happen but, when playing with friends this mode can be A TON of fun! I really enjoyed playing it and laughing my butt off the whole time.

I enjoy this so far. Hotwire imo is just good for grinding cash and explosion kills, period. I do like the weapons but the engineer class is not that usefull. Been using all classes but what is annoying is faction dependant weapons. Which later on will extend game length but right now it's just a drag.

Yes I HATE faction dependent weapons. One of the worst parts of BF3...

As far as hardline, it's an interesting diversion. Haywire and Heist are cool new modes, but Conquest sucks in this game. The assault class's guns are waaaay more powerful than smgs. It was a lot more fun that I thought it would be, but not to the point I would put a couple hundred hours in it - so I won't be getting it.

I do like the unlock system, although I hate paying for stupid stuff like camos. They should have separate unlock trees for cosmetic items - like completing missions or something.

I played for like 5 hours today. Can say it has some potential if it is done correctly, but with that being said, there isn't much substance. Not a game I can see me spending any real time on.

Probably the best summary of the game I've seen yet.

I played it for a couple hours and it's only $30 good. Definitely not paying $60 for this thing. I still believe it should have been DLC not a stand alone game.

Agreed it was fun but not enough substance to be a stand alone game.
