The "What I'm Currently Playing on PC" Thread

Figured we could have one of these, since our masterrace peeps are all over the map all the time. Not playing anything currently myself, but I've been looking to jump into something. Maybe Titanfall, maybe Hardline, maybe back to BF4. Maybe I'll just keep on keepin on with the Total War titles, I don't know.

I've been eyeing Cities: Skylines but probably won't get it. Anyone have any feedback on that?

Hmm he's no longer on H-Hour? That sucks. Oh well, I can't remember how much I kicked in but glad it wasn't a ton. I was looking forward to that, forgot about it entirely for a bit though.

Don't like what I've seen of the campaign of Hardline so far. Just playing it to ramp up to multiplayer but I don't think I'm going to give this title a fair shot. Between all the negativity I've already absorbed regarding it, my dislike for the story/environment, and the cost, I think I'm too jaded to begin with. I should have been smart and just saved my $70, but because I bought it now I'll feel like I have to get some of my money's worth I guess. I should have played the beta and avoided this whole mess.

Maybe I'll look into that GO mod.

From what I have seen for H-Hour - its up in the air on whether people are going to be pissed off or not. Don't know why Sears left but seems the same old shit for Kickstarter projects. I did not fund this as I felt it was questionable. Also getting burned for another project - I won't be doing any KS in the future. The original SOCOM titles was a definite favorite in my book..

There is another project you might want to keep your eye on. There was a kickstarter for this but did not get the funding in 2012 IIRC. Developer is moving with it regardless without taking peoples money regardless. So based on that I think this maybe worthwhile. I think sometime this year they will have alpha or beta or something to that effect. They changed to UE 4 from UE 3 so that slowed things down a bit.

I backed it at the lowest level to get the game, so I don't feel bad. Sucks that he bailed, but we'll see how it is. If it's as entertaining as a new BF4 DLC, I feel like it's worth it for me.

To me seems some of the character mesh's are pretty basic. To be fair this, is an old vid or WIP. Seems nothing recent has been put out of what things are shaping up to, or I just could not find it. It's either going to be good or shit is going to hit the fan..

Got an email about the H-Hour beta firing up on the 8th or 9th, will definitely check it out.

In the meantime I'm really liking Heroes and Generals, especially the General/War concepts. That could be pretty cool if its mechanics are implemented correctly. Definitely a game where you need to play with coordination/clan support.

I only have a few hours into this game but I really enjoy the gameplay. Graphics and effects-wise, it's nowhere near CoD or BF, but I like it. It requires coordination and communication, has a bit of a steep curve to it, doesn't hold your hand too much nor forgive you for leeeeeeeeeroying... I never would have heard of it had its ad not popped up when Steam opened one time. I don't know if I'll be trying to stick around in it, but it's fresh to me and the mechanics of it are fun. There is some grumbling of it being P2W (as with any F2P model these days it seems) but odds stacked against you don't mean you're f'd, teamwork and coordination rules, and the final model is still a work in progress. Plus you can play with people who will enjoy it still without a great graphics card.

All this talk of ESO dropping on consoles had me download it all over again on PC. I don't think I ever got past level 17, never gave it a real chance. Maybe I'll wander around in that a bit, but I think I'm just done with MMORPG type stuff for good. Nothing seems to ever scratch that itch.

Uninstalled Hardline. It is fun and polished for sure but just isn't "new" enough feeling. I don't know how to explain it. I can understand completely why people like it but it's pricey for what it is.

I think I'll log into H-Hour if I have time this weekend and get some capture for you guys. It's rough, not gonna lie, but it's alpha so I expect that. The controls seem to be pretty non-standard. Logged in, joined a game, didn't bother looking up the keymappings, walked around the map for a bit looking for baddies, climbed onto a roof, got killed, logged out, ate a burrito. I should have at least gotten to know what the controls were first.

Oh and the NHL Playoffs have started, what a time sink. LGRW!

Probably can.

I'm positive there are controls that work, but I don't know what they're mapped to. I tried guessing instead of looking it up, and my guessing sucks ass. Next time I'm just going to look it up before playing. That will work better for sure.

I said it was alpha; it's actually in beta I think.

on pc i'm currently playing archeage on Lucius server, mmo game. server population is low but still the best sandbox mmo out in my opinion. On the xbox one side, I like to play fifa 15. nothing really out atm that's blown me away
