How do I deactivate my account here? I tried to be proactive with no response so I am done.
Tony your gonna give up that quickly? You have to stay proactive my friend and remember that this is a forum, it has it's ups and downs with activity

I don't want to give up man, I really don't. I understand the ups and downs part but the complete lack of response at all is just downing... I have commented/posted for the past few days and the only response I got was from you on this post about deactivating... How sad is that? I love being a part of this forum. I love what it stands for. I love what it does for others. WE NEED THAT BACK! Showing up and having 0 responses on anything just kills me...

It's spring fever, gamer burnout, or just life getting in the way for many on here right now. Every gaming community goes through these slumps. Once players have a game to play as a core group and are able to get on the forums again you will see a change. They just need a good MP game and time to play and talk about it.
I'm allergic to stupidity and the world is trying to kill me.

He has a point though. For months the forums have been dead. Not even the comic/tv show/movie/random posts are happening anymore. I don't think anyone should leave because of this yet but it has been really quiet around here.

Don't leave! Every place has its ups and downs but we'll pull through this. Just keep posting and we'll get some good discussions going. Just don't set your expectations too high.

We get busy whenever a new big game comes out. Right now we are in a limbo of sorts due to bad games lately.

That's sorta my life game-wise the last few months.
I used to be pretty active but with eve online and then this time of year with football I am non existent in my console gaming and here. We used to be active even without a big game out.

Yeah I haven't been playing shit either lately, just can't get into anything and don't have time.
It would be nice if people were more active on the forums though (I'm guilty of being UA for long periods of time in that regard too though). You don't have to be active in-game to participate in the community.
I will remain active here but I am taking a hiatus from gaming. There is nothing out that I am interested in playing right now and I am beyond over BF4... lol

BF4 is starting to get old, and it's not nearly the challenge it used to be. But we've got new weapons and the return of Gunmaster dropping in April, and more maps coming down the pipeline, so that will be cool.

Yeah and at E3 they will announce a new bf and cod. And everyone will lose their fucking minds.
I'm sure when E3 and summer hits this place will be booming again there just nothing out right now that's bringing people in once rainbow six siege or the division releases that will probably change and who knows what E3 will bring to the table .

If gun game comes back I will be playing religiously I miss that game mode so much from bf3 separates the slightly skilled from the truly skilled you may be good with your weapon of choice but to be good with whatever is handed to you is a different story.

Yep the latest news on battlelog confirmed it so it's no rumor.
It wasn't my favorite mode, but I did enjoy it. It was a welcome diversion (though now it will ruin all the weapons I have exactly 100 kills with...)

I don't play much on PS3 anymore, cause everyone left me, and plays on PS4. Nobody is on PC either, I play WoW pretty regularly on the weekends.
I agree though, this place has gotten pretty quiet, I think we need someone willing to run the community to volunteer to drive the community, and give it direction.

Fact! Lol, I got promoted last Aug and I've been super swamped ever since. Never even bothered to get my signature updated, lol. Now I'm in the middle of buying and selling a house and raising 3 kids. Gaming and random Internet browsing is the first thing that gets dropped. I've been bummed by the lack of activity in the community, but I've also contributed to it. I've never seen it this bad here, but we definitely go through ups and downs.

Tony I'll be honest I've left once before because of lack of activity and the group that I left to ended up kicking me down when I needed it most. This place lifted me up, dusted me off, and kicked my ass to keep me going. USMG is a family and we don't always talk as much as we should but we're here for each other that's what really matters.

I know it's been slow and I have not helped the cause. Sometimes real life gets in the way and makes it difficult. We all have things at times that take over uncontrollably. I have had little time to game but I need to at least try to make it to the forums more. As it's been said this is a family and we don't give up on family

I am still here and I am running non stop USMG tags and telling everyone I can about it through ever medium I can. Streams, FB, Twitter and just word of mouth. I would love to be able to recruit on the PS4 side of things but alas. I am not staff. I have noticed a lot of the staff is retiring and I thank them for their service! We need to have some form of promotion system in place so when one leaves there is someone there to fill their shoes for whatever platform they were on.

It's all volunteer based. Anyone can volunteer to be staff if there is an opening, and as long as they've been around a little while, they're GTG

Yeah the community has been slow, I think a lot of people are busy with life, myself included, 9 weeks to go for me and I am on summer vacation so you'll see me being much more active until August when I'm teaching again

Oh I know... I have a life also but right now I'm working a ton. Don't have a ton of free time to see friends and stuff so the Internet is my outlet to the world for now.
