I know every one asking for money every where I go, has homeless vet on the cardboard, I hate to say this but been burnt by scams like this, I gave a few bucks to the guy at the interchange the whole homeless vet thing, I went to the gym was doing cardio and saw the guy collect some more money then walk into the gym parking lot jumped into a rather new car and take off. That killed my big heart right there and will never give to homeless anyone ever again.

Yeah it's been a trend around here. It's turned into a business with hierarchy and all. A year ago, there were no panhandlers around where I am, now they're out there all the time, strategically placed and no opportunistic spot ignored. I used to care once in a while and give money to panhandlers, but now NFG.

I never ever give cash. There are so many who are either liars or will just go get drunk or high with the money. But I'll give them a fast food gift card or something like that.

Here in good old Fl there is always the same 4-6 people who sit in the same places every day asking for money. I know that some of them just look hungry so I if I have grocery or something like that I will give them something.
