I used to like playing black ops 1 and 2 but since I haven't enjoyed the previous call of duties release and I'm almost certain I will not be getting this. Having said that I really enjoyed the previous black ops's but not too sure if I am in to the whole futuristic thing that near enough every game is adapting to.

I never really liked those. They were okay, but not my thing. I like modern combat, not futuristic (if it's in the future it better be halo!)

Even if that's the case, it's that Cod logo that will make all the difference. Regardless of how bad the game is, any call of duty game will sell really well because call of duty. Had Titan fall been a call of duty branded game people would still be playing it because call of duty

I'm no sheep and I'm going in kinda jaded but I put my 5 down on it to get my beta code to try it out and I will give my verdict after the beta.

This is why I wish demos were still common place. It's so rare to see a demo pop up just before or even alongside a release. I know "public beta tests" are the new demo but then when it doesn't impress the knee jerk reaction is well it's just a beta, the game will probably be fixed. That and most games don't get a public beta.

Gaming gods that be, please resurrect the game demo so we may decide for ourselves if we like a game enough to purchase it

I wish CoD would make more games like the first Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2. That'll bring me back. I just get disappointed and Ghosts really made me dislike CoD.

I'd like to see something new but I can't complain because I can't come up with anything either. They've done past, present, and future pretty extensively now. Where do they go from there? There are a lot of historical periods they could try I suppose but would the fatigue still be there from the last time historical shooters saturated the market?

Playing the beta. It's actually pretty fun. Not going to buy it right now though, MAYBE when it's $20 off in a xbox special sometime down the road like for ghosts and advanced warfare... I'm really waiting for Star Wars to come out.
