The title pretty much says it all, what do you use for your beard? I started using beard oil but the stuff that I was using where it was good it didn't really smell all that great. It kind of smelled like smoke mixed with motor oil and it was quite strong. I started using this stuff that I came across thanks to Valor that's called Badass Beard Care. The price is reasonable and it doesn't smell rank like the other stuff that I was using, the balm works great on keeping your hair from not going in a thousand directions.

I still haven't ordered my stuff yet. And they have free trials, just pay the shipping.

Yeah I got Viking and Mountain Man I like them both so far. I might go through the trial packs and figure out which ones I like first.
Sadly I had to shave my beard off... Promotions sometimes suck...

My hatred of hipsters prevents me from growing a beard. Although I haven't had a hair cut in months.

Hence the reason I shaved mine. Their was a pic posted somewhere of my chin hair. It was about 7" long when I shaved it.

That's awesome lol, I can hear her complaining already. Should start a pool on how long it takes for her to tell me to shave it lol

Opinions from a ladies perspective. I like many women married to military men or whom have served tend to look at a guy and think they need to not have it.
That said I did have my mind changed when Papamurph83 grew out his beard. It took a bit to get used to the feel of it, I am sure that is where beard oils would prove to be quite useful.
He shaved it off once after he had grown it back out and of course I like him both ways but I have to admit once you get a beard and it looks good keep with it.
I think they look nice on most men but there is always that crazy extreme where it can be unkempt.
Also, be forwarded if you have a daughter like we do you may find that a beard is a glitter magnet and that crap never gets out. No really it never goes away.....you need a lice Comb for that stuff.

I'm using my other sample packet, this one is called mountain man and it's pretty good. I think I need to use a bit more balm than it suggests to make it hold longer.

I have gone with the permanent 5 o'clock shadow look. I dont trim it pretty I just use trimmers and buzz my face. Seems to look good and the grey is not too noticable, but I think I have a baby face anyways, a grimacing baby lol
