Not sure if anyone is interested, but I do have my own Minecraft server running in my home office.

DL380, dual 3gb procs and 8gb of memory.

I run 3 instances, a flat creative, and normal creative, and a survival.

I'm still working out user management, and currently, I need to whitelist you to join.
If you'd like to play on it, please post your minecraft name here, and I'll add you.

well, mine is a dedicated server. minecraft is all thats running on it, and the only reason it would be down, is if i turned it off.. or I have a power outage at my house.

I do back up the maps twice a day though.

Hey I know everyone has been busy and off Murph s server but We do have plans on expanding and making a fleet of Armadas. Anyone interested we can plan on an XB1 Armada building marathon!

They are working on some new things for a Microsoft release to allow for more, just a lot to be done since the buyout. Rental type servers was one project idea I heard. I know a couple of nerds there. When they are in town they drink and spill info lol. Husband and wife both working for MS. Bet that's fun.

I'm not 100% certain how to set it to what your expecting.. I changed it to creative/with a difficulty of 2(normal).. I think this gives you resources, but still allows the monsters to spawn.

Basic....if you take from the farm replant. And try to gather and populate the storage unit as best as possible. Either wah have fun and design away

It's no biggie I just want to make sure he has my stuff. The only thing that ducked is the couple of hours I was dead the iron golem farm wasn't going. Thanks for checking.

I gave what I thought was yours over, i went and enchanted a new sword and chest plate loaded up and had 10 diamonds and a stack of goodies, started mining in a new area. I new there was lava then the server hiccuped me thru the solid rock and I died had 26 more levels to enchant with

Well, technically, the server is not full survival.. its technically normal mode, creative. which still allows all the stuff to spawn, but doesn't have all the limits that survival has.

obviously, you guys haven't been in there, cause the server has been off, for 3+ weeks... lolz :eyebrows:

yeah, I had a powersupply go out, so the server has been down. I don't intend to replace the powersupply, cause its just my test server, so to save all the map data, I powered off the server.

I ordered a Raspberry PI, to replace it, but I haven't received it yet. Once I do, I'll get minecraft server setup again, and move the maps over. (Although, I may only be able to support 1 map, instead of 3).

I got the raspberry pi today, and set it up.

Everyone try connecting, I readded everyone I believe.

This is a brandnew map, because the old server still has all the map data.

I apologize guys, but do to a breech to my home network, I have decided to shutdown access to the minecraft server.

If we have a desire to get a minecraft server, perhaps we should looking into pooling some cash, and renting one.
