It's not a new concept though. It's been done so many times before. Halo for example. The Spartans were super soldiers. Metal Gear franchise dealt with human cloning to build armies...

The gameplay will probably be very similar to similar to Advanced Warfare/Titanfall.

Super soldiers are nothing new, but a backlash against augmentation worldwide (the haves and the have-notes) is quite different. (And augmentation not being limited to military)

I am with you on that Brother.... They did the European theatre game. Now hit us Marines up in the Pacific. Some Island campaigns would have been great.
Or how about our (One of our...) Forgotten war, Korea?

I know why they won't do Desert Storm. It would only be about an hour of game play, and months of work up..... lol

I am just tired of the futuristic war games. I love the historical based games, minus the Ray-Guns.

Yeah I do like halo, but I've always liked modern warfare/battlefield better. And I don't really like the near-future ones at all. It better be way far in the future.

My thoughts is Korea, perfect setting for the single person campaign. The collapse of the south Korean military and the fall back to Pusan, defense of the area and then the Inchon landing and attack north until the chines enter the war. Anti tank mission, human wave missions and surviving the winter fall back, then trench and taking he hill missions. Yes no 30 rounds banana clips but the old COD were great with the M-1, Might actually make the kids who play online actually aim rather then counting on a extend mag and using the pray and spray method. Actually you could make to games one based in the 50's and then one based in the 80's with a fictional war. I'm sure the great leader would condemn all of us to death in a nuclear fire if this was done, but they are crazier then hell anyway.

I was reminiscing with some (Xbox) friends last night. COD 3, World at War, FlashPoint, Band of Brothers....
I say fuck the concentration on graphics, just give me a game with some authenticity. Of course for the non-military minded individuals, an authentic/historically based game doesn't usually sell (unfortunately).

I mean, I want some authenticity - that's why I like BF4 better than CoD (and I need to try Arma). But I'm not gonna play a crappy graphical game for good authenticity at this point.
