Community Love

With all the issues going on outside of the gaming community. Lets take a moment and say one or two things we like or appreciate about our community.

To start off here are mine:

1.) I am thankful for all the hardworking driven people in our community who not only put forth the effort to be educational (Grammar Nazis and all) but are there just for a help in the right direction.
2.) I am thankful for those who laugh at small things and LOL about even bigger ones to include BF comments.
3.) I am most grateful for all the team effort, we may not always like each others opinions or each other but we are able to grow and learn to be fellow USMG Members.

Geez, I could write a book on this.

What am I grateful about?

1. The 'Post whores'.... Seriously I am appreciative of those that contribute, news, views and opinions (even though they are mostly wrong...lol). It keeps the site active.

2. The 'Slave Drivers'.... Actually, those that run this site (even when they say they don't). These are those that make the selfless sacrifices of their money, personal lives, and other resources; to ensure this place still exists. They contribute the graphics, maintenance, articles, or just being a referee (and law enforcement).

3. The 'Givers'... There are many 'Hard-heads' with soft hearts. The philanthropic outreach of this community to many noble efforts is amazing. Some of these causes are well known (Extra Life). Others go unseen, but are just as important. I salute those that set the example of generosity with a large dose of humility.

4. The 'Fellowship'... Nothing more needs to be said.... Except my own perspective: I rarely use the term 'Friend' although in today's society it is loosely given. Nearly all of my 'friends' reside in places with granite mailboxes. So, 'Fellowship' best describes my appreciation for this place.

I'm grateful for the friends I have made here. I am not a social person and I take breaks from a lot these days, except this group. Last night is a great example, I was playing eve which consumes me to join the community members for a bit on bf4.

I'm also grateful for all of the adventures we've had in this community. Both in the Forums and in game. It's such a dynamic group we have here. I've learned a lot from everyone about a bunch of different topics and about patience, perseverance and being a better person in general.

I have a few things I am thankful for if you all don't mind me saying....


I am thankful for this site bringing me and Havok together as friends. I love that sum bitch and am so grateful to have met him.
I am thankful for this site for bringing MsVixonite together as friends as well. Although she is a Brit she is fantastic person and we have become very fast friends.
I am also thankful for this site for standing for something bigger than ones self. It's all about the gamer next to you and I have met the 2 I would trust the most. Thank you for that...
