E3 2015 predictions

E3 is nearly upon us again, just a little over a month away (June 16-18) and of course the industry is buzzing like crazy.

the usual big players have their presentations lined up, Nintendo is going the prerecorded Nintendo Direct route again, Square-enix and Bethesda have announced their own conferences as well. Lots to look forward to and speculate about, shock and awe is inbound

what are your predictions? guesses on the big surprises, wildcards, outtro teasers, shots in the dark, lets hear it all



My Predictions:

Sony

more on the delayed Uncharted 4 with a release date
full roll out of VUE (currently only available in 2-3 cities)
Vita redesign model (no return of the OLED screen though)
The Last Guardian resurfaces, possibly not as same name though (total shot in the dark/ wishful thinking lol)


Microsoft


tease a new Gears of War game and release date of a gears remastered, this holiday season
I assume Halo 5 is going to be a main focus with lots of single player footage
HoloLens will show off more of it's gaming applications
reveal of what Rare has been working on
more on new Tomb Raider


Nintendo

first batch of their mobile games revealed, possibly available this fall
they will try their hardest not to talk about NX, even though that's what everyone wants to talk about
Zelda WiiU will have a outtro teaser and possibly a release date even though they said it wasn't going to be at E3
heavy focus on new Star Fox game
WiiU Animal crossing game announced that syncs up with the upcoming animal crossing: happy home designer 3DS game
the smaller sized New 3DS will get a US release
WiiU price drop...... they seriously need it


Square
.......still trying to figure out what they're planning. Most of their games would be shown off in the Microsoft and Sony conferences, so maybe they just plan to show more of the same? Show off more Final Fantasy 15, Dues Ex, and Tomb Raider I suppose

Bethesda
Fallout 4. It's gotta be. The dev team has been quiet for way too long to not have a substantial portion of the game ready to show. They have enough clout in the gaming world to say screw the hype and advertising buildup and just say here is Fallout 4....and it's available this fall

I heard that Red Dead Redemption II would be making an appearance.

I could definitely see that, I don't recall hearing anything from that branch of Rockstar in a while. Red dead was an amazing success too so they know just getting it out the door will make millions

I have heard rumors that Mass Effect 4 might make an appearance and u know Destiny will tease their new DLC The Taken King. I also would like to see what RockStar is up to and Bethaseda since they have both of them have been really quiet.

Ah yes, I heard the Mass effect rumor as well. Something about huge plot points being leaked via a survey? They say the same thing happened with dragon age so it does seem to have some sort of validity. I need to finish mass effect, I bought the trilogy when it was on sale a while back but haven't gotten around to it yet

U need to complete all three becuz once Mass Effect 4 comes out then I'll be lost on the major plot points. The major thing I'm excited for is to see a new chapter begin

I intentionally didnt read or listen to what people are reporting as the leaked story for ME4 because I didnt want to spoil anything for myself so I have no idea where this takes place in the ME timeline, but wasn't ME3 the conclusion of Shepard's story? In theory then, the next game should be easier to jump straight into than ME 2 or 3 because it will be more stand alone, or at least not so dependent on the previous game stories

still not an excuse to not play the first 3 though, I really need to finish that already

ME3 was the end of his story but the choices u made will reflect on the current state of ME4

I really want app parity between the 360 and the one. Even if I didn't have a backlog of games I would have to keep the 360 connected for some apps. I know that isn't Microsofts fault but damn.

The reveal video was amusingly cheesy with terrible acting and even a virtual boy. Fred Savage said on twitter that he wants in, that would be a great throwback move on Nintendo to set up a The Wizard reunion. Perhaps they could be celebrity judges/commentators or something

I heard the other day (in line with Max) Fallout 4 would be announced and/or Skyrim 6... Bethesda announced Skyrim 4 years prior to its release and speculation is the next installment will be announced this year. That is strange with ESO coming out.

Hate to do this but as a huge ES follower I have to make a slight correction, it wouldn't be called Skyrim 6. It would be titled The Elder Scrolls VI: _____. But I agree, with the release of ESO I think a more probable release would be of another Fallout game. However I do believe the biggest hypes will be Battlefront, Halo 5 and anything Nintendo decides to bring out.

Yeah, with ESO incoming I think they will focus heavy on Fallout 4, maybe the next Elder Scrolls teased next year. Game releases are tricky, can't just put out a game anymore without carefully considering what else is coming out and what you'll potentially take steam from

What? No way, the power glove is clearly a sign of great skill lol. I actually had one, it was an absurd gimmick that I could have replicated by strapping a controller to my forearm because that was the only practical/functional way I used it

I hope they show nothing Gears Of War related because that franchise just needs to die already (my opinion)
Microsoft will probably show off more indie titles... There are two big PC indie titles that are coming to XB1, Space Engineers and Elite: Dangerous. I'm crossing my fingers they show gameplay footage from an Xbox for those two games so I know they haven't turned to Vaporware.

Read a rumor for a Dishonored 2... Hoping it's true but then again I think I'd rather see a new Fallout or Elder Scrolls from Bethesda.
Just Cause 3 I'm sure will have gameplay footage or a trailer at least.
I would be extremely surprised if Rockstar made an appearance, they've never showed anything AT E3. Last year they revealed GTA V for the new consoles during E3, but they were not present at the conference. Hoping that they at least reveal something about a new Red Dead in some shape or form though or at least new DLC for GTA V.

Yeah, I'd like to hear some gta5 dlc plans now that online heists are finally out the door. I also would like to hear something about no man's sky but at the same time, that is a small studio making that game and I don't want to see them being rushed to a deadline

Max, you bring up an excellent point. Getting the USMG back in the spotlight.
You older members (Time as members) know the times we touched the national spotlight and got our name out there. E3 is just one way we could (with dedicated involvement) get eyes back in our direction.
There have been a few things (I remember) that we were involved in. The Radio show, wasn't there a magazine article?, exclusive beta testing, Extra Life, involvement with the BF crew (Havok)... I am not in the 'know' any longer, so excuse my missed events. It would be great to get our message back out there.

Indeed, River used to do the radio show, there was the XBOX magazine article, couple guys were asked to do voice-over for a Web series... Plenty of exposure, surely we could pull off something like E3 with a little drive and networking
