Bendryl sounds like a good option :-)

Yeah but the I'm a zombie for an hour or two with bendryl, if I drink 2 -3 hrs hell might as well stay up all night that I feel the next day.

26 - 5 to 7 hours

I've done quite a bit of research on the topic. Apparently, 8 hours has been seen as a little too much sleep and 7 is the generic optimum range. I think it's horse shit.

I would love to sleep more I suppose and I do have the ability too just not the children or job that agree with the idea lol.

2-4 for me, if I tell the military docs I will have to quit flying and I'm not willing to do that. It is all because of severe back/neck pain.

There's a lot of things people don't tell the docs "I have 1 beer once a week ;) ;)"

Although in the AF they're just starting to take better care of fliers' backs and necks. Lots of studies lately. Don't know if they'll help anyone who's been already hurt or not or if it's just preventative but supposedly they're goo to spending more money on chiropractors for those who are hurtng

The Air Forces answer is back injections and motrin. Honestly I am just trying to make it another three years to 18, after that they have to medically retire me if they put me through a MEB.

Yeah that's kinda the current atmosphere. Maybe it's changing. I haven't had any issues and hopefully I won't since I should be done with high-G aircraft at least for a while.

Not gonna happen, just saw a orthopedic surgeon that said "your nerves will fire so much that they will burn out in your mid 40's and then your back will just be stiff, so we are not going to do anything". I have a memory foam topper for my bed that helps. I just want to make it to retirement so I can use my GI bill and move up to the pilots seat of helicopter perminently. I have a few hundred hours up front and it is so much easier on the back.

30:5-7 hours on a regular day. My sleeping schedule gets messed up when I'm on a long break like I have been, have been going to bed at between 1-4 am and waking up between 8 and 11 am. During the school year I am out by 10:30 or 11 pm and up at around 5:30 or 6 am
