Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015

It begins....

MaximusR3
06-14-2015, 12:58
it has officially, unofficially kicked off so here is a thread to keep all our discussions in order. From previous experience, i'd be wary of posting videos unless they are from a legitimate source because they will get pulled down rapidly as the expo goes on and we'll end up with a thread of dead links. Once the dust settles and trailers are posted officially, games with large interest will spin off to their own threads but for the meantime lets keep it contained here

I don't think we have many Nintendo players here but here is the Smash Bros Pre E3 direct from this morning

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWM-SCjIuNg

this is one of the only games that makes me really want to get a WiiU (along with Mario Kart and the upcoming Zelda) so it's always good to hear more content is coming. If Nintendo plays their cards right and gives the WiiU the much needed price drop, I may get on board

If you don't want to watch the full 18+ minutes of the video (you can also skip to about 17 minutes in for the video recap), here is my recap:

Ryu of Street Fighter fame is joining the roster, will have the most diverse move set of all smash fighters to date with weak and strong versions of each attack and will be the first character to have two different final smash moves. Familiar street fighter command inputs will also work in the game (quarter circle forward+punch for hadouken, for example) and will be slightly stronger that way. He will come bundled with his own stage and music, and will cost 5.99 for either WiiU or 3DS versions, or 6.99 for both
Roy from Fire Emblem and Lucus from the Mother series return from previous installments. They will sell for 3.99 each for a WiiU or 3DS version, or 4.99 each for the WiiU/3DS combo pack
Mii fighter gets more costumes themed from Megaman Battle Network, Megaman X (Zero costume), Splatoon, Animal Crossing, and Virtua Fighter. They will be .75 each for a WiiU or 3DS version, or 1.15 each for the WiiU/3DS combo pack. a Tekken themed Heihachi costume is also shown but not priced
Mii Fighter joins the Amiibo line up with various costume iterations
Dream Land stage (Kirby) returns from original Smash Bros for 1.99 for WiiU or 3DS, or 2.99 for both
More original Smash Bros stages are in the works, including the Zelda and Mario 64 stages
MiiVerse stage is finally coming out and will be free DLC
Tournament mode will finally come out in August
Youtube integration is incoming so you can upload replays directly to the streaming site

pretty good amount of content for a game that's been out this long so consider me impressed. btw, with the exception of the few things that were specifically mentioned as coming soon, everything mentioned here is available now

Bethesda Press Conference

This is on Monday, right?

MaximusR3
06-14-2015, 14:56
nope, it's tonight. actual presser starts at 1900 I believe, with pre-show coverage starting at 1830

you can tune in on Twitch if you want to watch the pre-show with Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb (ahh the old G4 days)

I must have originally looked at an old schedule, because it showed Bethesda at 1845 tomorrow. Thanks!!

MaximusR3
06-14-2015, 15:14
sounds likely. I think when it was first announced that Bethesda was having their own conference it was assumed they would be on Monday or Tuesday with everyone else but they had to go and be different with a conference that is technically a day before E3 starts. I figured they'd take that 1600-1700 slot on Monday but they must have felt they needed more time than the window allowed which is fine by me, they could probably spend an hour on Fallout 4 alone and they still have Doom and Dishonored to discuss

MaximusR3
06-15-2015, 13:11
I was busy last night so I haven't gotten a chance to go through the Bethesda conference yet but my report will be coming soon. In the meantime, Microsoft just finished their presser and plenty of awesome info was revealed so let's dive in:

- They kicked off the event with Halo 5: Guardians and a half cinematic tailer, half gameplay demo of the campaign showing off squad commands while playing as Locke and his team

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QwjwJ9Z_XYs
Then they revealed a new PvE multiplayer mode called Warzone with this trailer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=av-N5smXFpw

- we got a cool cinematic trailer for a new game from Keiji Inafune (legendary Megaman co-creator) and "the makers of Metroid Prime"
ReCore

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D2xgu4QnYA0

- Big news was the announcement of Backwards Compatibility for XBOX360 games. It sounds like they developed software emulation so digital games will be the way this works. Even when you put in a 360 disc, as I understand it, it will trigger the download of the digital title. available this Holiday

- The new Elite controller looks fantastic with a lot of customization options. rear paddles and hair trigger locks alone are already enough to sell it for any hardcore FPS players

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJAix3h-1DM

- Fallout 4 was pretty heavily shown off at Bethesda's event but the big news here is that PC mods will be usable on XB1, and the game will come with Fallout 3

- EA early access is adding TitanFall soon and Dragon Age: Inquisition this fall. Oh and the service is free during the week of EA so go download it!

- After dropping a real Ford GT on the stage they showed a New Forza Motorsport 6 trailer and it's looking as good as ever

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oBbXxfZYTAA

- Dark Souls III reveal trailer and release window of "Early 2016"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RAlGv-IW4g

- We got a new trailer from The Division but the surprise announcement was an XB1 exclusive beta in december, and Rainbow 6 siege is on track for a 16 October release. It will also come with Vegas and Vegas 2 free

- New F2P XB1/PC exclusive "Gigantic"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CP0BRaoqr-A

MaximusR3
06-15-2015, 13:13
- There was an Indie Dev segment that showed off a few upcoming games in this sizzle trailer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLJXBLvGJvc
followed by focused trailers on some bigger ones, like the new one from Gone Home creators Full Bright called " Tacoma

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8BkLMgaoQcM
the 1930's cartoon inspired "Cuphead"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4TjUPXAn2Rg
and the announcement of a new project from the creator of DayZ called "ION"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_yq6zUzfnE
They are also going to be adding a steam-like early access program for indie games; each one will have a playable demo to help you choose if you want to early adopt or not

- Rare revealed two games, the first being "Rare Replay" which is a collection of 30 classic Rare titles like Battletoads, Perfect Dark, and Banjo-Kazooie.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AaieVt3M72c
The 2nd was a new IP called "Sea of Thieves"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1z48qvGsA_0

- For those worried about Fable Legends, it's still coming and here is a new trailer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2v9rtc2a0rQ

- Hololens made an appearance with Minecraft and looked great. it gives you the ability to basically play as an overlord and view the world in a 3d space

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgakdcEzVwg

- Last but not least was Gears of War. The Gears of War Ultimate Edition (full remaster of the first GoW) was briefly mentioned before rolling into a Gears 4 gameplay demo

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bro5YugsPDg

- They closed out the show with this sizzle trailer to further emphasize on all the great games coming to XBOX

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cLNRgWKQBkY

and there you have it, Microsoft's conference broken down. Interesting note....No Call of Duty whatsoever. Unexpected

MaximusR3
06-15-2015, 16:01
OK, press conference number 2 of the day is finished, here's what EA had to share:

- strong start with the new Mass Effect trailer, Mass Effect: Andomeda

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uG8V9dRqSsw

- Next up was Need for Speed. They gave us a trailer and a gameplay demo, which is the more interesting of the two

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPVgwz5aN1o

- Star Wars: The Old Republic is getting a free expansion, "Knights of the Fallen Empire"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omvM7n6FLgI

- A new IP from a small dev team was announced called "Unravel" and is probably far too cutesy for this site but oh well, I liked it lol

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QpnY1G3vt_0

- Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 was already shown a little at Microsoft but now we got more details and gameplay footage

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_0gZFfqK3w

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhMTYTjxVMU
They plan to release free content updates "long after launch" so I'm assuming 6-12 months

- now I need to apologize because this is the part of the conference where I started to doze off because Sports games are not my thing, I have very little interest in them. They did, however, mention all the usual franchises with a 16 in the title. Hockey, Golf, Soccer, football, basketball....it's all going to be here like every other year so if you're a big EA sports person, you have all those to look forward to. They paid special attention to Fifa16 with a special guest legendary player Pelè, whom I admit I have no knowledge of but from the dialogue with him I could see he was a big deal in the sport. Women teams will also make their first appearance in the series. They also showed off a fantasy football draft game that I believe is part of the new Madden

- They mentioned a few mobile titles, the most interesting of which was Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, but we pretty much just got a name and nothing more. A minions game in the vein of The Simpsons: tapped out is also incoming

- Back to big games. Mirrors Edge: Catalyst

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IsDX_LiJT7E

- to close out the event of course is Star Wars Battlefront with an awesome gameplay video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzFWFUwyVug

ok, on to Ubisoft, which is starting now...

Ubisoft recap incoming in 3...2...1...

MaximusR3
06-15-2015, 17:58
Ubisoft conference is in the can, let's break it down:

- Opening the event is South Park: Fractured But Whole, a follow up to Stick of Truth

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AB6P5gpNan0

- New IP revealed, "For Honor"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSHXXks53YY
and multiplayer mode was shown

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgvXnDuvj-g
They will have registration on their site for news and the inevitable beta

- new expansion for The Crew is coming November 17th, "Wild Run"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDkGg99hdeM

- Trials Fusion is also getting an expansion, coming July 14th, Awesome Level Max. The trailer is pretty epic so just watch lol

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ggIPfrUSOno

- The Division showed off a new story trailer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2jtOoOKuKs
as well as "Dark Zone" gameplay, where you can team up and/or double cross other players at will

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFfxzBQKFnY
Beta for PC/PS4/XB1 will be "early next year" and the new new release date is March 8th 2016...for now

MaximusR3
06-15-2015, 17:59
- two trailers shown off for Anno 2255, which is like super sim city and looks amazing
cinematic space/moon trailer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jjrOpFCeObE
and gameplay trailer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=95kadd42GKU
A beta will be coming later this year

- Anyone care about Just Dance here? well Just Dance 2016 is on it's way to every game system they can get their hands on and no camera will be needed, just a smart phone. Thought they already did as much for the previous entry but I guess not

- Rainbow Six: Siege started off with a cinematic trailer featuring Angela Bassett

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSCQ_mN0eVc
then they had a live demo of the returning TerroHunt mode, 5 vs AI but I didn't feel like I saw anything new, just that the enemy was an AI team rather than a PvP match

- Track Mania will come to consoles in the form of Track Mania Turbo on November 27th

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3piye62BYf4
It will feature some 200 tracks and a random track generator for endless possibilities

- Almost done now because Assassin's Creed Syndicate is up with a new trailer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTBbwgsyxvg

- We hadn't seen one of these "oh and one more thing" endings thus far so I was amused to see it now and it was a really great looking reveal of Ghost Recon: Wildlands

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdJub3Kz2wI
Like every other game these days it's going to be a massive open world and I'm definitely interested

3 down, 1 to go and the biggest news day is over. Bring on Sony...

MaximusR3
06-15-2015, 21:36
Last conference of the night, here comes the Sony breakdown:

- Sony started in traditional style with a sizzle reel but nothing unexpected there

- Jaw dropping moment #1 of the event is "The Last Guardian" finally coming out of hibernation and getting a gameplay trailer as well as a broad "2016" release date

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXLZvsSmBIs

- New IP from Guerrilla (Killzone series) is "Horizon: Zero Dawn" and we get a gameplay trailer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fkg5UVTsKCE

- New Hitman game is coming with a preorder beta closer to launch

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVqxMCZ3u6k

- The PS exclusive "Street Fighter 5" got a gameplay trailer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-9abLlPmp0

- No Man's Sky got a live demo to show off it's scale but still no release window

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7VJvckCmNBo

- Media Molecule came out and revealed the strangest thing I've seen in a long while...."Dreams"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4j8Wp-sx5K0

- a new "Firewatch" trailer with gameplay was shown next

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGfd1MwL-T4

- Destiny's next expansion, "The Taken King" is coming September 15th

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oD6h4ZD1jg8

MaximusR3
06-15-2015, 21:39
- Assassins Creed Syndicate gave us a trailer focusing on one of the two playable characters, Evie

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Hocg3iOyxs
I cant seem to find the longer version with the narration from the male character but it's essentially the same trailer here. It was also announced that PS4 would get some exclusive missions

- The first Final Fantasy news was a "World of Final Fantasy" trailer of this cutesy mash up game for PS4 and Vita

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_No3HEjvLrw

- Jaw drop moment #2 was the reveal of the long awaited and fan requested Final Fantasy 7 remake

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kznek1uNVsg

- new Batman Arkham Knight trailer was dropped and the announcement of exclusive PS4 scarecrow missions

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0VUPN1ZkGfo

- Morpheus was talked about next but not nearly as much info as I was expecting. They talked about most of the other VR systems out there focusing on single player experiences before showing "Rigs", a 3v3 battle arena game that is playable on the show floor

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xeSI2aj37MY

- Big news dropped next when Activision announced that Sony is now the holder of the timed exclusive Call of Duty contract so PS4 players will be getting all COD content first. They showed off the campaign, featuring 1-4 player co-op and then the multiplayer reveal trailer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GM2m9LG35N0
First beta should be coming in august, game releases November 6th

- Disney Infinity 3.0 took the stage next to show off the upcoming star wars playsets but the biggest news was an exclusive PS4 special edition that is the only place to get Boba Fett

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBlg_7NyJoA

Almost done now....

- Star Wars Battlefront showed off their horde mode they're calling "Survival" with this gameplay trailer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlErxrZcuZw

- And of course to close out the event, an Uncharted 4 live demo

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zL46dpNEPPA

.....and there we have it, all the conferences of day one are covered. I finished watching the bethesda conference and will be recapping that next. Tomorrow is Nintendo, Square, and PC but I have to work so I won't be able to post as promptly. News and videos will continue to come in throughout the week and I'll do my best to keep you all posted

MaximusR3
06-15-2015, 22:54
Ok, time to recap Bethesda's conference from last night:

- They began the show with Doom and lots of it. Here is a singleplayer trailer/demo

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NteAPGprDJk

and here is a multiplayer trailer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0nUfreRj3Q

They announced Doom Snapmap, which is a streamlined creation tool for making and sharing custom user content

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGhqgQXwIVU

you can watch the full 20+ minutes of Doom content here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QiinO9JPUGw), including a 2nd gameplay demo in hell that ends with firing a BFG

- Next they talked about a new digital platform called Bethesda net, which sounds to me like what EA did with Origin or Valve with Steam. It will be integrated into all their games as well as bring together their websites and forums

- BattleCry gets a little stage time and shows a trailer that showcases a new player faction

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FgAcL5yk8uo
global beta signup is open now at www.battlecrythegame.com (https://www.battlecrythegame.com) so go check it up and sign up if you're interested

- Dishonored 2 is next to take the stage with this trailer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnsDyv-TtJg

while the Devs were discussing the new game they also announced Dishonored Definitive Edition, which is a PS4/XB1 remaster of the first game, available this fall

- Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited got a sneak peek look into the future content coming to the game with this trailer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0-r4D_Dcw0

on the subject of Elder Scrolls, Bethesda also announced a competitive card game in the works called The Elder Scrolls: Legends. I expect something along the lines of Blizzard's Hearthstone

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7VQa-sOlz4

- The rest of the conference is all about Fallout, with Todd Howard on stage discussing his latest game. There is literally so much content in this game that you're probably better off just watching the full 33 minutes of it here

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5esyZPt5Jo

if you dont have the time or patience then I will try to recap some of the highlights

Largest game in scale and scope they've made to date
Voiced male or female player character
Facial features are customized with point and dragging rather than sliders and presets
There is a huge base building side game where you can customize your surroundings to build up houses and small towns and install defenses to protect it from invasions
50 base weapons that feature 400+ modifications

I'm not doing it justice, there is so much more.
Oh and it's out November 10th 2015

You can play retro games on your pip boy and the collectors edition of the game will come with a real, wearable pip boy. kind of. You put your phone inside it and download the companion app and then it functions exactly like the in-game pip boy

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H86cZwjdGwU

one additional Fallout announcement is a mobile game, "Fallout Shelter"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HY4jCjufLG8
It's free but doesn't have timers or pay walls, doesn't even require internet to play. It is available now on iOS and android will be announced later

That about wraps Bethesda's show, lots of exciting news came out of it and now we know how long we need to wait for Fallout 4

I'm playing catch up now for today's events, first up is Nintendo....

I really do like Nintendo but this digital event really had no big news or excitement, it was a bit of a snooze. I've been going through my notes over and over trying to decide what to even share here because the pickings are very slim. Only three games stood out to me, two of which have already been shown many times and are releasing in the near future

Yoshi's Woolly World

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4pH7Eik7B4
in addition to being no doubt the most adorable Yoshi game to date, it looks like the best Yoshi game we've seen since the original Yoshi's Island

Super Mario Maker

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwO09vJAPDs
The ability to make and share custom Mario levels is the reason Nintendo has been needing to justify the tablet controller and make it relevant

The new reveal that matters was of course Star Fox Zero

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s6PEecNY0Sc

there were a slew of other titles shown but nothing really seemed to catch any interest. A Metroid Prime game fans are dying for was not announced, instead we got this weird 4-player co-op 3DS game called Metroid Prime Federation Force

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGu3Xe1uUUg

I will give it to Nintendo though, at least the bulk of the games they showed are coming out this year or early next. Hopefully more interesting things surface soon from the show floor

PC Gaming show is finally over, that was a long one clocking in at two and a half hours. I'll get to work on a recap asap
I'm stoked for AMD's new graphic cards! That's all I know about that show really

MaximusR3
06-16-2015, 22:39
I apologize in advance, PC is my least knowledgeable platform so I didn't know the majority of what was being shown here. Luckily nearly every video was paired with a mini interview so I did get a slight grasp on some of it. Here's the highlights as I recall them-

- Tripwire Interactive talked about Killing Floor 2 and the new tech they're using in the game and ended with an announcement trailer
Rising Storm 2: Vietnam

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yBYMluk3R4s

- as Sam mentioned, AMD had hardware to show off like the new Radeon graphics cards, a powerhouse little gaming rig they called project quantum, and the hardware that powers it, which is a dual GPU fiji card...I have little knowledge of what that all means, just repeating what they said lol

check out AMD's youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/amd/videos) for spec videos for all the new hardware released

- Deus Ex had a tech demo showing off the capabilities of the Dawn Engine

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-epev7cT30

- Total War: Warhammer was announced teased through this History of Total War trailer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGkg_Izkod8

- Phil Spencer came on stage next to talk more about Windows 10 gaming support. He said he didn't want to make any promises he couldnt keep so he didn't reveal much but did say they will bring Killer Instinct to PC. They brought out some games that were shown yesterday at Microsoft's event to reiterate that they will be on PC; Fable Legends, Gigantic, and Gear of War Ultimate Edition. Gears dev said the PC version will allow for 4K resolution, utilize Direct X 12, and have an unlimited refresh rate

- Here it is, the announcement EVERYONE has been waiting for....
American Truck Simulator

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DF2A7m5A0rc

- We got to see some great gameplay footage for Eve Valkyrie and Strafe which was cool but I cant find good videos of yet. Google them if you're interested, Valkyrie is an Oculus Rift space shooter and Strafe is a procedural generated retro style FPS

- Pillars of Eternity will be getting an expansion "The White March"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4a05OrRrR2Q

- Planet Coaster, for all the Theme Park sim enthusiasts out there

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivAHFCHmIZo

- Guild Halls are coming to Guild Wars 2

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0nKnkySDrvU

- Arma 3 is getting an expansion, Tanoa

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HvEGxdmjKro

MaximusR3
06-16-2015, 22:41
- Dirty Bomb is playable now on Steam for free

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFsfpKQgGJ8

- DayZ devs took the stage to discuss where the game is headed. It will get a single player mode, will fully embrace Steam Workshop to streamline mod download/install, and they will be releasing the necessary tools for people to host their own servers

- Blizzard's MOBA, Heroes of the Storm will be getting it's first expansion, "Eternal Conflict"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-RYw5wAKKc0

- Starcraft 2 free prologue missions, "Whispers of Oblivion" will bridge the gap between Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void. Pre-purchasing gets you early access

- And the last piece of news, No Man's Sky will release on PC at the same time as PS4 so it is finally confirmed that it will not be a console exclusive, timed or otherwise

Boom! PC Gaming show is in the bag. I still need to finish watching the Square Enix conference and report but then I'll be done with all the conference news

Last conference, Square-Enix. Let's do this:

- They kicked it off with a lengthy features video of Just Cause 3

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0i6SZUVdju8

- More talk on Rise of the Tomb Raider but it was behind the scenes focused so no new news here. They then revealed the next game in their mobile GO series
Lara Croft GO

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fM0XMTqDY4Q

- They showed the Final Fantasy 7 remake trailer again from the Sony conference yesterday, followed by talk about the original FF7 PC version being ported to PS4 this winter and iOS by the end of this summer

- Kingdom Hearts Unchained Key is an upcoming mobile game, but people only got excited at the conference because they thought it was going to be KH3 lol

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rgEKWTBabfg

- And then the real Kingdom Hearts 3 gameplay was shown. Still not even a release window though

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKo4BgDnlfQ

- Hitman got another trailer as well

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kA_Mx3-ZMGE

- Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness got it's first gameplay trailer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQOp8HvVhvo

- Deus Ex in-engine trailer reveal

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ongaT55Gn9U

- For the "One more thing" moment, Square made an odd choice by announcing a newly formed studio called Tokyo RPG Factory and that they are working on a new IP they're calling "Project Setsuna" but outside of a few pieces of concept art we got almost no information on the game other than that it will obviously be a JRPG

That's a wrap, all E3 2015 press conferences have been covered in the best detail I could provide. Plenty more will be trickling in over the next two days of E3 from the show floor so don't consider all the fun over just yet, interesting things are yet to come

heres more updates from E3 that were not in the press conferences, be that from the showfloor or individual dev announcements

- Rock Band 4 showed a new trailer revealing a new guitar freeform solo mode but the trailer really didnt show anything, it cut to a real band playing to suggest you'll feel like you're really playing. Release date is October 6th of this year

- Transformers: Devastation looks 80's cartoon inspired

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YrMqdCP2pvk

- New Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain trailer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_pLJlVuCw8

- New Mad Max trailer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_KC8H07vfo

- King's Quest gets a trailer with chapter one releasing in July

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBzM6mEU6hY

- Destiny's new expansion, The Taken King collectors edition contents are revealed and is available for preorder

- over 20 minutes of gameplay and discussion of XCOM 2

- Guitar Hero Live

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HeBk3H91KgU

Hello everyone! Well where to start as far as E3? Well XBOXis in a hell of a position to gain momentum in the industry. The Execs are looking ahead and what buildsupon the next ten or so blocks! I love this foresight. That being said I had awonderful time having dinners, lunches etc. with all the greats... Mike Ybarra(my personal friend) who basically dropped the mic! BOOM backwards Compatible! So not many people know or knew but they had been messing around playing masseffects games and some other titles two weeks before announcement! Lol no onegot it! Phil spencer was fun to hang with humble and just straight up a gamer! He is the reason we have the ELITE controller as he uses the Scuff. He taskedthe team to build one... And it was finished 8 months ago! I had an extremepleasure of meeting with the CEO Satya Nadella wow.. inspiring man to listenand interact with! I enjoyed Speaking and spending way too much time with MajorNelson! Lol guy cracks me up! Then my Boy Aaron Greenberg! Dude went out of hisway to make us happy and help us in everything.. from VIP exclusive parties totop notch back stage access and VIP interviews and dev conferences! I am justso excited to have been fortunate enough to been invited to this event. I havephotos on my FB, but here is a public link to around 450 photos fromevents. http://1drv.ms/1LhMfWB

That is outstanding, sounds like you didn't just get to go to E3, you got the full vip treatment. Which conferences were you able to get into?

A much deserved opportunity Jeff. If you have the pleasure next year, we will take up donations to get you a go pro cam to wear while there, then we can all pretend we are there as well.

Agreed! Show floor footage would be awesome because currently all we can do is watch gaming news outlet commentary videos once the conferences are over.

speaking of which, here is the last few tidbits of stuff I found interesting from show floor coverage

- the audio on many videos from E3 this year are incredibly low and this is no different but if you were wanting to see a little more on how Mad Max actually plays then it's worth checking this out

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7uWr1bJvw0

- From the creators of Life is Strange comes this concept trailer for their next project Vampyr. I'm curious how it will turn out

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JtpT4LLxFv4

- this one hasn't had a lot of hype that I've seen but it seems pretty cool to me, primarily the dungeon master portion of the game. D&D fans as well as fans of the Dungeon Keeper games should dig this one

now that E3 2015 is officially over, what are everyone's favorite games or news? Game of the Show for you?

I'll be detailing it more in my final E3 2015 article on the home page but in short, my game of the show is Horizon Zero Dawn from Guerrilla Games. It looks visually stunning and it is great to see them taking a departure from Killzone titles. It has a story that I'm very curious about and can't wait to dive into

No problem, it was a lot of fun. Plus I'm trying to help bring more of the "Gamers" aspect back into U.S. Military Gamers, so the more gaming awareness I can bring to the site the better. I haven't given up on the ps plus game reviews idea either, it just got pushed back with E3. I finished up a lot of the templates so I'm hoping to have it done soon and future episodes will be much easier because I don't have to make everything from scratch again

I was only into Xbox since they hosted me.

That's what I figured. From what I've heard that's typically the way it goes, you only get into one or two at best. And even if you could get to them all it would be a tough time crunch to make it work. I'd almost consider watching them online in the hotel so I didn't miss anything lol
