Anyone play any of the civilization games? I just picked up Civ V and Civ Beyond Earth and they're a blast!

I think i have them or have access in a shared Steam library, but haven't played.

How do shared libraries work? I think I've heard of that but I don't really know much about it

Get anyone you know to login to your computer, they then sign in on the steam client and authorize your system with their library

Ah ok so its just the same as game sharing on playstation or Xbox? With the way it had been talked about in the past I had always assumed it was a special feature of steam or something

Yeah, works about the same way. I haven't had a chance to eat something, but i believe Steam may have recently changed the way the sharing works. In the beginning of the sharing program, you could be playing a friends shared game and continue to play if.they logged into their.account from their computed. The share was game based. I think they have now.changed that and.basing it on the whole library, so if you are playing that friends game and the login to Steam, you immediately get shared library in use nessages and the timer starts counting down until you get disconnected from the shared library and can not play the shared games again until the feiend logs out of Steam.
