The long ago promised free PS Plus version of DRIVECLUB is finally here; It is supposed to be available for download tomorrow, 25 June, according to official twitter accounts and PS Blog posts
If you are unsure on what DRIVECLUB is, and the name doesn't give it away, it is a racing game with heavy social aspects. Here's a trailer from last year to give you better insight

What is the difference between the PS Plus and retail versions? The retail version gets you all the content (paid DLC excluded of course) right out of the box as well as a few bonus items. The plus version starts you off with a selection of tracks and vehicles and allows you to buy additional content ala carte if you so choose. here is a video they released detailing the two versions

The original launch of the game was a bit of a mess but now they claim to have overhauled a lot of the net code and have taken steps to compensate for heavy server loads. We shall see this weekend if everything holds up as they predict
