Minecraft Hosting.

Looking at hosting through https://mcprohosting.com/, and https://www.beastnode.com/minecraft - 10-15 person is only $5.00~ a month.

Is anyone willing to donate to the server, if I set it up for a year? - I'll front the cost out of the community funds, if I know people will donate to keep it running.

I think there were about 5-6 of us running on my home server, if everyone is willing to toss in 10 bucks a year, we'd be set. Just a thought.

any takers? If we get atleast 3 people to say they will, I'll get it setup.

Have you looked into minecraft realms? I think it costs more than the hosting you found but realms are hosted by Mojang and optimized for seamless integration into the game so that people don't need to enter ip addresses and all that. I have no first hand experience with them though so I'm not sure if the higher cost is worth the features or not, just a random thought because I remembered seeing them in the game menus
