Hey all just a quick note there is a search button on the forum. Please use the search button so that we can cut down on double posts. Remember that was the reason it was put in. The search button can be found at the top of each forum and on the top of the main forum page.

Yes this works well, but it is thread specific. It is not always clear which thread something SHOULD be posted in. Is there a way to get a global search option on the board index? This would be a huge help.

There is already a global search on the top right of the board. In the blue banner. That's the global search for the forum. Is that what you meant? If not we can run it up to smoke.

What do u mean..if you serach something like Silent fart for example it will serach the site for all instances..it only searches postings though..so u cant search by user..Type in "mama" and the search will locate all postings that have mama in it

The search by user name would be good too but I am just saying for example someone wants to post about a news story or something they can search what they want to put up and then they see if it was posted.
