So this started last night, I have a little problem. I took my wedding ring off last night because my finger was feeling swollen, I set it in my living room and forgot about it(pretty sad I forgot about it after five years). Anyways I am so used to it being on my finger I didn't even feel it missing. Now my wife is pissed off, I am pissed off that I can't find it and feel horrible. My weekend on Monday or Tuesday I am gonna turn my house upside down till I find it. I can't afford a new ring anytime soon so I am screwed if I can't find it. I am hoping my 2 year old comes up with it from somewhere if not my life is gonna suck for a while.

I know how you feel. My cat ran off with mine once. Never found it. Bought a new one for me; upgraded hers and all was forgotten.
1) your kid ate it
2) your pet ate it
3) it fell behind something, where you last took it off
4) you left it in your or a... pocket of an item of clothing, you last wore
5) you're screwed, just accept it

That sucks man. Whenever I take my ring off I usually put it on my D-ring that's on my keychain.

Interesting concept...putting it on your keyring? That is a good idea. I take mine off alot for work being a service tech.
I hope you find it indy!
I have a honda key ring, and its got a quick latch. very nice feature. :D
Good luck Indy. Would now be a good time to take out a life insurance policy on you..

I litterally watched a guy in a public restroom take his ring off to wash his hands.. .then proceeded to grab it.
it went flying out of his hands, hit the mirror, hit him in the right cheek, and down the drain it went.
I felt so bad for the guy, because he was literally having a breakdown.
But it didn't stop me from laughing when i left the store.
so did you find/replace it?

A bit strange I guess, but my best friend Wade had his wife's name tatooed on his wring finger. It's covered when he wears the ring. His wife Jamie jokes that he can't hide being married.

Still haven't found it. I am going to turn the house upside down on Monday on my day off. I can't replace it right now as I have no money to be able to replace it. Hopefully I can find it.
Horde I think I would have been laughing myself, after feeling bad for the guy for a few minutes lol.

If ever take mine off I hook it into my dog tags, I still wear them every day. I have to take my ring off almost everyday for work (mechanic). I have been married for almost ten years, I have gone through four rings, all of them have been destroyed from working on stuff. Lol, I have a scar that runs down my ring finger from one of those incidents.
if all else fails.... it's time to bust out the metal detector  .

My wife would kill me too, a metal detector sounds like a good idea, might find someplace where you can rent one instead of having to buy one! ;)

I never had this problem and NEVER will. Never been married and never will be. Even if I was I wouldn't wear a ring anyway. My Dad almost lost his finger because of a wedding ring. He won't wear one to the day.

Well I just may be outta the doghouse. I was on the website and I looked down and my ring was on the floor. Lesson learned that's for damn sure. I am not going to tell my wife and just see if she notices.

It could work for me. I have a silver one and it had the hammered look and now it has basically been worn down to being smooth. I'll have to remember that come next time.

Mine is only two and a half years old and is tungsten which is really strong. It still looks like it is brand new!! This thing won't bend or scratch and it's been through hell.
