Hey people, just wanted to appologize for not being much of team player lately. I have some pretty momentous things going on in my life. The first unfortunately is a rather serious cancer scare. GUYS TAKE YOUR PROSTATE HEALTH SERIOUSLY! Anyway, I'm waiting for some test results and appointments with specialists, so I'm a bit preoccupied. I haven't had the best relationship with the Man Upstairs, but I'm trying to mend my ways and I'd really appreciate a few good thoughts sent my way.
On a happier note, Boeing is building a new 787 Dreamliner assembly plant in Charleston, SC about 90 miles north of me. As an aircraft mechanic I've always dreamed of working with Boeing. To my great pleasure I'm currently being considered for three different jobs at the new facility! I have an official interview on August 5th and I'm quite nervous about it. As you can imagine, I'm being pulled in a few directions at once at the moment. Oh well, I'm a trooper and I'll survive!

WOW Mike, I hope it's all just a false alarm. That's great about the job lineup tho. I hope you get your pick out of the three.

On another note my kid wanted to watch Thomas so I had to get off the game. Be on after work though.

Good luck bro, health is first and foremost. If you need to you can always join the on leave group, then everyone will know that you are preoccupied with you health and life.

Thanks for the encouragement guys. I've been holding onto this stuff for a few weeks and I don't want to worry my family, so I haven't really talked to anyone about it. It felt good to kinda say it out loud so-to-speak, but I didn't want to feel like I was fishing for pity. Anyway, thanks.
