I wish you could... I have tried making a Marine Corps shirt and they wouldn't let me unless you have the license for the logo with is like 1,000 dollars or more. This includes seals and the names i.e. USMC, Marines, and US Marine Corps. You could maybe pull it off if some local shirt store would do it. :|

I have always liked the shirt and bumper stickers idea. I would like to see hats also at some point. One thing though...make sure the shirt come in 3X for a fat man like me. :D

I like the idea!!! This is a bit far reaching but it would be cool for something like having one for each branch of service.

When I was a contractor we had company shirts that had collages that were service specific equipment (Army, AF, Navy) on one sleeve and then an Eagle with an american flag collage on the other. Mostly because you work on a service specific contract (mine happened to be with the Army).

Instead of a branch/service specific shirt. How about one with a collage that represents all branches, to show a united front. Individual shirts smack of cliquiness (hmm.. is that a word?) to me. I think the collage would be cool on the back. That soldier on the front seems like the "trademark" for this clan. I think he should stay on the shirt in some capacity. I would also like to see a bald eagle and/or American Flag on this shirt (maybe as the centerpiece of the collage).

Oh and I think it should be XBOX/PS3 :twisted: :lol:

Wilecoyote, there are two ways that I can think of to do this:

1) Go through zazzle (http://www.zazzle.com) and the shirts run about 16-22ish plus shipping cost, color shirts always cost more than white.

2) Someone has a place local make a bunch of them in bulk and ships to people wanting them. This method would probably actually be cheaper if there is a high demand. I talked with a local company just getting a ball park figure and they said "front and back printing of shirt for 50 quantity would be about 10-12 dollars a shirt." The more stuff being printing I am sure the price will go up and the same with zazzle.

I had a thought, but didn't have time to design it. It sounds cool in my head though. If you were to take a black shirt or gray, and run urban digital camo over the right shoulder and fade to nothing. Then have our logo or whatever on the left chest. Cool thought, but not sure if it would look as good as it sounds. :?

i think a main issue that slows the process of these types of ideas is the logo issue. An issue that i have taken a step back from after way too much indecision and no results :(

time to make a commad decision and design a few. it doesnt cost anythng to design them and you can order what you want. i would probably do something alittle different for the women as far as design goes so they too can look cool in wal-mart like me :)

Either one of the two. I like yours alot, but I'm afraid of the costs due to amount of detail and number of colors involed.

OOhh...OOhh...get my artistic juices flowing! :D When making t-shirts I think its best to stick to a front and back design. How about somehting like this for the front, like small size, over the heart:

And then something like this, for a logo accross the back. This is just rough, threw it together in about 5 minutes, gimme some time, and I can make it grayscale (to cost less :D ), add a USMG to it, all kinds of stuff. I am an Art Education major! ;) But here's the back:

The shirt looks great! I'd definitely buy one. Just one thing about the seal. We're going for "all branches represented", right? If the aircraft is to represent the Air Force, I think we need to swap out the F-18 for an F-15 or F-22. The F-18 is usually associated with the Navy and Marine Corps. Also, do we have any Coast Guard represented on this board? Just my thoughts. I love the concept.

Very well simple fix with the addition of an F22. However I don't think there is any room for anything else like for coastguard. I will just have to add it to the shirt design now.

Hey airborne, i got a good friend who is a manager at Sport Decal, a place that makes T-shirts and tons of other stuff. he says that he will give us the friend rate and be less expensive. they usually deal in large orders though so I am not sure if it will work out for what we want. his name is Chris, his e-mail is Cross@sportdecals.com i sent him what the shirt looks like, if we can give him an idea of the size of order he can give you a quote. tell him that Matt sent you (or mulethedestoyer).

Read my post on the first page the clan is what needs to be shown off not what branch you served in. if you are a member of the clan we want you to sport our colors. ive been out for 7 years now i am a civilian also so i understand.

No, I used the generatic ones on the back. Like I said before it looked a lot better when it was in the design process. After I put it up as the final it looks blurry.

I received an email from some lady there and she said that some of my images didn't load properly to their system. I had to send her an email with all the images attached. She said the designers there would correct it but I will have to see once I receive my shirt. I am really hoping they don't mess this up!!

Ok, so i talked with my friend at Sport Decal and he's quoting $14.99 per t-shirt with the black style using the DPI digital shirt maker thing ( it might be a couple dollars more 'cause i forgot that there was stuff on the sleeves). There is no minimum order and they will take single orders through their website. What i need is higher resolution images of the graphics ( he made a pilot one and it look pretty digitized). Once the T-shirt is created i will post a link on how to order it. my guy on the inside is the shipping manager so I can tell you how long it takes to get your shirts. i play nazi zombies and left 4 dead with him all the time so I can yell at him if it's taking to long. ( by the way if anyone still plays either of those games please join us, we nead the talent. nazis keep eating my brains).

I got my shirt that ordered today. The Graphics are very "Silvery Grey" and slightly blurry except for the text on the back. I don't know where my hat is.

If the graphics turn out better on these other shirts I'll just have to get another :D This one will do for now tho.

Can you post pictures of it? That kind of disappoints me to hear that. I guess that is why it is better to get it done locally so you can check the quality of it... :|

Toss your idea out there. New ideas are always welcome you might be better at photoshop then me :D I am no expert just trying to get there. I have a couple out there now I just think we went to the wrong print shop to have them done.

LOL I was way behind the times. Not used to these forums and I didn't follow the thread through 'til the end. My idea was to simplify the images to silhouettes, it will make screen printing cheaper and easier. But running through the rest of the forum, there are a bunch of great ideas.Whatever we end up with, I want one.

No if the logos where any larger on the t shirt it would look ridiculous in my opinion, maybe the back USMG logo could be slightly larger but look's good the size it is at, and also you can re size the images on the t shirt if you want on the webpage before checkout, they are proportionate to the size of the shirt I took a closer pic for ya the shirt size is large.
