Yeah, I checked all the shelters just to make sure he wasn't turned in because Florida isn't very lenient on dogs and they are usually given 2 weeks before they're given the needle. I couldn't find him so I just assume whoever took him kept him...and yes, whoever did this, is a bastard to the highest caliber.

that's why you don't let your pup outta of your sight... or out without a leash. doesn't matter if you just let him/her out for a walk in your backyard... you still go with him/her.

I agree, I always let him out to use the bathroom in our backyard (which is fenced) but he was too smart for his own good and learned how to climb a chain link fence. I saw him climb it over as I was going back outside to get him and he took off...and saw him picked up by a Blue Taurus. The police were kind enough to tell me that without a plate number they couldn't help or put out a BOLO.

hate to say it but....shock collar with the sensor perimeter, would've been a good choice. especially IF you have a pup that likes to run :| .... it sounds cruel but it's for their own safety.

I always heard that the sensor perimeters work really well but I learned from my mistakes and I take my dogs out on leashes and I alternate which on runs with me to tire them out.
