Me and Max have picked this back up for the new co-op missions.
Anyone up for it again?
Lots of lovely shiny new trophies to be had

yes, it is much more fun than the boring ol' gang hideouts since you have something else to do besides just kill everyone inside.
And on the first mission we completed we each earned 4 trophies, which makes you feel awesome

I'd love to catch up with you guys sometime and give the co-op a try. Don't hold me to any schedule, since I'm only 4 trophies away from earning my first platinum trophy on Assassin's Creed 2 and that's my priority at the moment.

with some assistance from Trendkill and Wicked, Lady and I managed to finish all the regular Co-Op missions tonight but we still need to redo the river one since we only managed silver and need all gold for a trophy, then we will have to give the advanced ones a try. I may need to practice up a bit before tackling those though because you get to use your own weapons set but you take more damage and it is on expert targeting mode (no sticky aim at all)

Max, Jack and I are gonna play some Undead this weekend if anyone's up for it.
You need the 3 in 1 undead pack...Nightmare, Liar's and Cheats and Hunters and Killers if you haven't already got it and want to join.
I noticed that not many people have cleared all the new hideouts so we can do those. Also the Undead MP and maybe the Poker/Liar's Dice/Horse racing too?
Anyway post here best time/day to play and such... and maybe we can get a good posse together :D

Hey, we have the stand alone Undead Nightmare. So what's this Liar's & Cheats and Hunters & Killers? Is that DLC?

yeah it's another DLC on PS Shop...L&C's is 7 new hideouts, hunting grounds and explosive rifle, races/poker/liar's dice online MP.
Sorry it Legends and killers (not hunters) and actually I think this one is a single player pack anyway.
You can buy all 3 you see as part of the undead pack but you can also get them separately. So you could just get the liar's and cheats one
I sold my copy of RDR after I ran through it.

Is RDR worth buying?
I've been considering it.. though i haven't even played all the way through fallout 3: new vegas yet... the FPS RPG for me kinda has been worn out after i got all the achievements for Fallout 3, worked on bioshock, and now been playing dragonage... i'm kinda burnt out... just been stuck on COD BO trying to get to the 15th pstg

Imo YES YES definitely! It's my all time favourite game :D:D
It just has so much content and so much more than just a shooter game. However for the extra content you have to pay for it, although it is a whole new campaign mode too, so good value for what you get.

Like Smoke, I sold mine off after I got done with the story, which was either just before or shortly after I joined and realized that people still play it.
If you like GTA, you'll like it. Mainly because it's Grand Theft Horse: OK Corral. With a pretty solid story to keep you playing through the various quests.

just to break it down for everyone, this is what the different RDR DLC packs are, how much they cost, and what you get in them (in order of release):
Outlaws to the end - free
this free pack gives you 6 online 4 player co-op missions with set weapon loadouts, which can also be completed in advanced mode (no sticky aim targeting and you can use your personal weapon set), and it comes with a small set of trophies/achievements. Missions are similar to doing gang hideouts but usually have more tasks involved, like escaping to mexico in a wagon with your allies.
Legends and Killers - $9.99
This one adds in a handful of new multiplayer characters from Red Dead Revolver (ps2 predecessor to redemption) as well as the tomahawk weapon in both SP and MP, and 9 new multiplayer maps to play in various gang and FFA matches. More trophies/achievements included
Cheats and Liars - $9.99
New with this DLC are story characters from the SP available in MP, online poker, liars dice, and horse races, as well as new MP modes and locations. Stronghold mode is added, where gangs attack and defend in objective based battles. Posse scoring and leaderboards are tracked, 7 new gang hideouts are added, and 4 hunting grounds. Hunting grounds work like a cross between gang hideouts and the legendary hunt challenges where you go to a certain area and kill X amount of a particular animal and then the legendary animal comes out, only now it totals up your score and awards XP after you finish off the animals. They also add in an explosive rifle for SP and MP. It seems pretty obvious, this pack includes the most new online content for your buck. Oh and new trophies/achievements of course.
The Hunting and Trading Pack - free
a really small update that only includes two new costumes for the SP game; The Savvy merchant costume which gives you half price at the gunsmith, and the Expert Hunter which gives you 2x items when you skin animals. Also added is a new animal, the Jackalope
Undead Nightmare - $9.99
you get a new SP story with new missions, characters, horses, animals to hunt, weapons, etc. On the MP side, you get a new mode called undead overrun which is a zombie wave survival game in 5 different locations. also added is a mode called Land grab which is basically a king of the hill style fight over 7 specific locations in the game world. A new set of MP characters are included, undead of course. More trophies/achievements are to be had.
Undead Nightmare Collection - $19.99 DLC or $29.99 standalone disc
as dlc it is just a bundle pack of undead nightmare, cheats and liars, and legends and killers, but having a RDR disc is still required. As a standalone disc it is all three packs and all the multiplayer aspects of the game on a seperate disc that doesn't require you to have RDR at all. It's basically RDR, stripped of the SP story mode and the DLCs added in it's place
so there you have it, all packs explained. If you have none of the paid DLCs then the collection is a good way to go because it's essentially buy two get one free. If you didn't have the game at all then the stand alone disc would still allow you to play with us. And if there was one pack you had to do without, i would say the Legends and Killers pack is the most expendable

Nice one Max! ;)
Basically Amiable....if you bought RDR disc (probably a used one would pretty low priced now as it's been out for a year) then buy either a used Undead 'add on' disc or download it for $19.99, you won't get a thing done for the next year lol!
Just a shame we aren't on the same console :(

yeah this last batch of DLC is just a final attempt to get a little money out of Red Dead because they are just a release of the Preorder bonuses. Neat and helpful little additions if you just started playing but for those that long since finished they provide no real gain. They are single player only bonuses but those of you that have a pokemon mind set ("gotta catch them all", me + LBP dlc lol) will enjoy adding these to their collection
