I have been looking to buy a portable bluetooth speaker, and it seems everyone likes the Motorola EQ series. I am leaning towards the EQ5. Does anyone have experience with the EQ speakers, or have another option I should look at? The 2 main features I need are decent sound, and battery life. The EQ5 uses a built in rechargeable battery, where the EQ7 uses 4 AA batteries.

Since you're looking towards the EQ5, I'm assuming you're looking for something for your phone?

Oh yeah, I guess I kinda left that part out! :D

Yes I am looking to connect to my DroidX and my Macbook.

Okay. I didn't like the EQ speakers I had....too quiet when driving.

I got the Blackberry VM-605. It's a visor mount, but you can pull the clip when using it out of the car. Plus it has an FM tuner for driving and using music apps. Was probably the loudest of the 4? I tried out.
