It seems only a few of the forums are set this way, i think just the ones in the cinema section as well as the couch surfing one, but they are by default set to sort by thread title, so they are alphabetical. All the other forums are sorted by last post date, descending, as i selected that in my settings page. Even when i go to the bottom of the page and switch it to my preferred sorting option, it still defaults back to sort by title when i come back to it.
