N. Korea shells island off the coast of S.Korea

You guys been watching thews today? My co-worker just informed me about this, apparently Ive had my head in the sand today.

News report on radio said they fired over 150 of HE at the small island killing 2 Marines and wounding 15. S.Korea retaliated with about 50 shells of HE and F-16 bomb runs.


He (the co-worker) then went on to make a bad joke "The F-16 scramble was delayed due to a Starcraft Tourney currently going on."

Most news is being down played due to finical concerns, the market dropped with just a little news of this event. If you every been there it insane the closer you get to the DMZ did a eam spirt there in the 80's.

The ROK's can take care of of NKPA, The NKPA has more men subpar equipment. The 1 thing they do have is as any soviet armed threat a shit load of artey. Air they have 1 moderen wing of MIG-29's. With the ROK bring them up to threat level there is no way the NKPA can rool plus it not winter which is the only time the NKPA can roll tank past the DMV, with out usuing the roads (which are raised) which would become death to them. Seoul would take a beating from art and rockets. I Hope our troops can stay out of this one. But the north is crazyer then a bed bug in paris.
