Reputation?

Alright, I am not sure how the reputation works. I give some out to 6 or 7 people, but then it says I have to spread some more around before I can give back to someone that I already have. What do I have to do? I gave smoke some about 8 or 9 people ago, and I still can't give him any. WHAT AM I MISSING....:confused:

Smoke, how many rep points does it take to get to the next level? I am just curious, I have been giving out some MAD rep points trying to get someone off the "distinguished road"...lol!

Oh, and just fyi for all the new members. When you are viewing post, there is a star icon on the bottom left. If you click on that you can leave the author rep points and leave comments.

I actually never even noticed this is there. What exactly is the point of this?? Is this kind of like kudos or something? Also how do you know if you have received any? I sent you one ironhide just testing it out but don't see where it shows that it went to...

Thanks! If you go to your settings, it will show if you have any rep points. I don't think it shows who gave it though, or not that I have found. Under our names in a post is a green icon. I think that is a bar graph that will increase as you receive more rep/kudos. If you hover your mouse over it, there is a flyout of what their status is. Smoke is the only one I have found that is close to gaining rank. :rolleyes:

Hey Smoke, I see Lady finally got two marks for reputation. When I mouse over it, it says she will soon be famous, but there is a some code in front of it for font color, etc.?

it's because she has a custom title color. it's basically saying "<pink text>Ladym123<end pink text> is blah blah blah", since it can't display html in the little hover info box

for someone who has a default title color it would just say the name like normal
