GS gets you Kratos and his Kart of Chaos, Best Buy gets you Nathan Drake and his jungle jeep, and Amazon gets you both Ratchet and Clank

(they don't list a special kart for R&C but that particular vehicle does have a R&C vibe to it)


as an added bonus, all preorders also receive one of four mystery mods(characters) and karts, and you will not know which one it is until you download it.

Anyone that doesn't know about this game, think Mario Kart mixed with LittleBigPlanet. It's a kart racer with weapons and power ups, drifting and boosting, and you can also create your own characters and tracks and share them with others online. Myself and a few others were in the beta and it was a lot of fun, i'm looking forward to this game

Isn't this 1 of the games that will also be compatible with the PS Move?

United Front Games has officially stated via the PS Blog (http://blog.us.playstation.com/2010/03/23/modnation-racers-ps3-bringing-back-the-split-screen/) that this game will feature 2-4 player splitscreen racing modes. Splitscreen is something that used to be so common but with online play being so popular it has become less and less common in games today. I for one am glad to see this feature's reappearance.

Also if you scroll through the comments section you will see that they confirm that you will be able to play your own music via the XMB, so those who do not enjoy the game sound track will have other options available to them

to those that have this game on PS3, does anyone not have the Air Raid mod and kart?

I got a code for it in my email for being a member of their site since way back when but it doesn't look like i'll be getting this game anytime soon so i'm willing to give it to who ever wants it
