just curious, what determines what is displayed over here on the left?

I've noticed some people it only shows awards, some only achievements, some both, and some none. Is there an option setting somewhere i overlooked? I thought maybe it just didn't display the category if you didn't have any but, like in my case, i do have a few achievements but it still does not show them.....or is it just me that can't see them?

also, on the subject, i noticed several of the site awards defaulted to "root", was that intentional?

I've been attempting to determine that myself, as my achievements do not show. however others do. I was thinking it was a permissions thing, but I've reviewed them and cannot see any discrepancies. I'll continue to research it today.:confused::D

I don't think that's the case either, though I'm not sure if its the number? It might be because its over 5.. I'll try playing with that today.

Not "intentional", just set by default. ;)

I just noticed that not all my achievements show? In my control panel I have 7, on the forums only 5? AND, what is the gift thingy that Lady has? :rolleyes:

because she is awesome! and i have been experimenting with the gift features in the market. i was able to get a standard gift to work but making a custom gift and giving it to someone still eludes me.....

I was just giving her a hard time...lol! It actually says the reason for the trophy when you mouse over it. :rolleyes:

I wondered where the gifting feature was. I will have to check it out.

yes, i know, not everyone cares about awards/achievements in the slightest but i still have another question:

how often do they update? I see, going by the stats page that there are a few torches that should have been passed in the awards section, and some achievements that should have been awarded but have not been.

examples:

master tagger is currently tracker with 6 tags, but smoke has 70
discussion ender is hitman but only has 5 posts total?
no one has earned any market achievements yet but i know there are plenty who have already spent more than 50 points in there.

I know there were a few bugs, and there has been a release, I just haven't applied it yet. I'll do that now, while I'm thinking about it.

It still doesn't seem to be displaying correctly so I entered a support request on the developers website.
I'll let you all know when I hear some more information. ;)

There you go Max, I was able to purchase the gift that you created and Wicked created. How do they display on your end? Mine it shows some medals.

ok, with some assistance from the developer, it looks like all the achievements are now displaying correctly. Let me know if you find any issues.

sorry for bugging so much with this at the moment, i just figure if we get everything working smoothly now we shouldn't have to worry about it again for a long time. or at least until they update vbulletin again and the mod becomes incompatible lol

BTW, did our levels get reset? I thought I was in the 40's, or I am losing it? Either way something is off...lol!

I agree. It is absolutely not bugging me at all, as-a-matter-a-fact, I very much depend on everyone to report issues, as I very easily overlook them.

your right, i'm working on it. I actually uninstalled it, clearing all the settings, then reloaded it with a tad higher experience level.
the scores may change, but still should be reflective of participation, just the score given per post may change a bit. :D
I know I don't understand it all, so I won't pretend to try and explain it better then that, cause I think the only thing I'd do is confuse myself. ;)

It was within 20 min. I'm not sure how you would return it. I didn't bother beyond reading this:

5 was the limit on the postbit display. I just increased the value to 10. :D and refreshed. You should see them now.

They are not in site achievements. they are actually below it, I just haven't added the padding to the display. which reminds me.... I need to fix that. :D
