Took me a couple of hours to figure out since it doesn't come with any instructions!! but was fun!!

nice. i remember wanting to do this sort of thing back when i first got a PS2 but i was hindered by being young and not having a credit/debit card to order such things online.
now that i'm thinking about it, i wonder what type of custom cases there are out there for PS3s.....

well i have to say after doing it myself ..u need to be tech savvy and not afraid that you will screw it up!!! since my warranty had just ended on the 9th of dec and my dvd started to act up on the 19th "go figure"... i had nothing to lose!!!
and just to let u know that the modding comity is a lot bigger then i thought there are a ton of resourses and mod that u can do to console, controllers and much more... i was looking next to mod my PSP ...but they have every thing from WII MOD's and yes PS3 MOD'S dont know the difficultly level but i rate the xbox mod as a Normal level Mode...not easy or veteran level!! so if u decided too let me know hoe it goes!! heres the link and pic of what i found

i went through the marine corps basic electronics course, micro-soldering, and multi-channel equipment repair course so i'm not too concerned with messing up, i'm fairly confident when it comes to taking electronics apart and putting them back together.
Had a friend's little brother red ring his 360 and was so pissed that he threw it across the room and pieces flew everywhere. he took it to a shop and they told him to buy a new one because it was beyond repair, so i took it, opened it up and cleaned the massive amounts of filth in there, put all the pieces back where they go and voilĂ*! works like a champ again.
My old 60gig PS3 that i gave to my brother crapped out a few weeks ago so i'll likely be cracking that one open anyways so if i get it running again i may have to look into some modding for it while i'm at it
