Gonna second Iron here. Loading and reading posts haven't been that bad, but there's a massive lag when trying to submit posts.
Guys, I understand. But unfortunately, this is just the nature of shared hosting.
We share bandwidth with probably 100 other websites, and anyone of them using resources is gonna cause us to run slower then normal. (It could even be us!)
The truth is, this is 1 of the few complaints about bluehost, our current host. I have brought it to their attention twice now, and both times they have made a couple tweaks, fixed it for a few month, and here we are again..
So its either we grin and bear it, or its time to transfer to a new webhost.
However, if we decide we want to move, I'll need to let you know, I just don't currently have the finances to front the cost for a site move. So if that's what we you all wanna do, I'll need some donations, to help pay for the move.
On average of some of the other hosts I've researched we're looking at about a 150.00 p/year - $300.00 commitment for 3 years.
Smoke's Recommendation..
I've heard really good things about midphase, and they've earned numerous awards.
midphase.com (http://www.midphase.com/website-hosting/)
$7.95 p/month * 12 months * 3 year = $286.20
$8.95 p/month * 12 months * 2 years = $214.80
$11.95 p/month * 12 month = $143.40
let me know what you all think, or if anyone knows of any other webhosts we'd like to evaluate.;)
I've researched :
justhost.com
arvixe.com
midphase.com
navisite.com
and a few others..

I am definitely down to help fund a host move. I don't really know much about hosting, so since Smoke has to deal with it, whoever he chooses is fine with me. Just as long as it better! ;)
I hear ya man. I try to choose what I think is the best, for the lowest amount of money. Hosting has been on a upward trend in pricing as people start to understand that the more people on the site, the more impact on speed of your site, and since we are sharing server resources with 50 + other websites; well, you've seen first hand how shared hosting affects performance.

After some additional research, I believe I have found a host that will perfectly fit our needs.
I'm going to go ahead and open this up for donations at the time : simply send donations via Paypal (https://www.paypal.com/) to webmaster@usmilitarygamers.com
I'm just looking for a 1 year contract at this time, to see how they fair after we get situated.
I have selected the Geek package over at http://www.geekstorage.com/gs/service/shared
They are based in Chicago, and have great reviews over on http://www.webhostingtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1
You look at squarespace.com?

It's all a matter of perspective, but at times, being slow is REALLY good! ;)
Smoke, I just sent the donation.
Heh Dude, I sent Pak a message last night, but haven't heard from him. Just an FYI if you've talked to him, tell him to check his Facebook messages. ;)
I will need to get access to the godaddy account before we can continue with a migration.
Let me know what we decide..ill fund some of it!
He was on the 360 few days ago, but didn't respond to my messages
