Who's Attending the Private Match?

I just want to get a feel for who all is going to be playing in the private match we are holding on Call of Duty: Black Ops Saturday April 23rd (1200 PST). It will be open to applicants and members alike.

Just vote in the poll to keep things easy to track. Your vote will be public so I can track who is attending. Poll will close Friday so I have at least a little time to figure out rosters.

with any luck hopefully this will be resolved at least a few hours before game time but setting up a fallback date would probably be a good idea at this point. If it goes anything like the xbox live service outages of the 07/08 holiday season, which ended up lasting several weeks with unstable as well as complete disrupted service, we may be waiting a while...

only up side is that more than likely Sony will be financially obligated (Microsoft faced several lawsuits over their outages) to provide some sort of compensation, at least for the paying Plus subscribers. Be that through a free downloadable game like Live did or something else, it would be foolish for them to not provide a compensation. And if it does only go out to plus users then when it comes down to it, as much of an inconvenience as it may be, it's a free service so we can't really complain that much. lol well we can but it wouldn't get us far

The problem with comparing it to Live's outage is that Live's was caused by a massive user surge. This sounds like quite a bit more problematic, especially since it's been 100% down for nearly a week, not just spotty and unstable, right?

As for Play subscribers getting something out of it, you'd hope that sony does so, as they would look terrible if they didn't.

360 side went awesome, we had (or at least I did) a lot of fun. There weren't many of us, so we just played some public Ground War matches, therefore, I didn't feel it necessary to keep track of kills and points and such, since this was also just kind of a recruitment match. We did have a couple people that I have not seen before, but I think Warhammer knows them, so I'll be working on inviting them to check out the site through the XBox. Not sure if they were active or retired Navy, but were using the clan tag [USN], so we'll see. All in all, I think everyone had a pretty good time. I ended up playing for about an hour and a half, Indy showed up, and good old Shoei showed up, not sure how long it went on for though.

PSN users got really screwed on this one, we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
