Is that good? Mediocre? I think things may have tapered off since we went silent with recruiting and stopped putting our name out there to prevent new signups until we got a handle on things.

I'd say mediocre for right now, I believe it was higher earlier in the year.

add me to the list of curious minds lol. From what i can tell thus far, it seems to be a "2 cents" counter, giving a point value to posts depending on the length and keeping a running total for each user. this seems like a fun new feature, you'll have to give us all a formal briefing when it's ready :D

Quick answer. Its called Ultimate points..
I acquire points by making points.. you can also bank points to protect them (Though there is interest, and withdrawal penalties)
and Rob people of their point, in an effort to gain more, but be warned, if you miss the random roll, not only do they keep their, but they get some of yours..
I'm still tinkering with the settings, and should have a more informative writeup soon. :)

I went negative because, I was paranoid that someone would steal my points so I deposited them into the bank. Then I deleted the post I made before i deposited and it took my points away, which happened to bring me to negative.

Just click on the USMG Points[0.00] next to the FAQ link at the top and it will take you to the area where you can get a basic idea of what you can do with them or how to get them.

Yes. Points are earned by posting, or by robbing others.

its like 51/49% for the victim. If you rob, and fail, you lose 25% more then what you tried to rob.

DESCRIPTION
Here you can try to rob another user. But you only can try to rob 25.00 percent of the user's current cash amount!
Like in real life, crime isn't really successful. Your chance to be successful with your robbery is 50.00 percent.
If you are not successful, you will loose additionally 50.00 percent of the value you wanted to rob!

I adjusted the success %, to be lower. You can now try to rob more though. but if you fail, you lose more too.. :lol:

I just noticed that there is a withdrawal fee for getting points back out of your account. 10% fee of what you withdraw, talk about highway robbery. It might be safer to just not bank it and take the chances with the everyday Maxipad bandit since our trusty USMG Bank seems to be the biggest robber of them all :lol:.
I think we should picket line the USMG Points Bank for penalty free banking :lol:

they go straight to me. See i implemented this code. normally the system rounds up all these fractions, so i had it round them down and put those fractions into my account. It doesn't seem like much but all those fractions of points add up to a lot over time......

it chooses at random from the people who enter and nobody. Just like in real life, it could be that no one has a winning ticket, so the jackpot rolls over to the next drawing
