Have you ever used a projector for gaming?

I have a brand new one in a box where it has been for about 2 years ...unused cos I have another one that we use for films occasionally. Anyway, I am thinking of Ebaying it but then I thought I may like to try it for gaming first.

I just wanna know if it's worth all the hassle getting it out of the box and setting it all up etc...or whether I should just take a pic and stick up for auction?

I have used a projector for playing nascar. Total redneck, I know. This was at my sisters trailer, and the projector was on top of the grill..:rolleyes:;)
I can't argue though, this was one of the best gaming nights ever! Beer and PS3!

Dude there is nothing to be ashamed of..Id have ducktaped it to the grill t make sure it wouldnt fall..now thats redneck

Projector's are cool if you want a big picture. If you're looking for high resolution, they kind of suck. Unless you have a projector worth more than Iron's sister's trailer.
