It's "National Eat What You Want Day"

Today is National Eat What You Want Day. I don't think there needs to be much explanation for this one. If you don't believe me, enter "national eat what you want day 2011" in your favorite search engine and see for yourself.

With that being said, eat what you want today! Since I retired and have pretty much thrown any semblance of P.T. out the window, I usually eat what I want anyway...:D. But today, I think that I'll rummage through the pantry and make up something that looks like it came from an episode of "Chopped".:p

River, as you open your hamper, your ingrediants are:

Strawberry popsicles.

Condensed milk

Celery.

Personally, I prefer Iron Chef myself. Your secret ingrediant is............AVACADO!!!

I pull a chicken breast out of the fridge and pound it out, then marinate it in tequila for about few minutes. Once the marinade has soaked in, I wrap it in bacon and then throw it in a fryer pan. While waiting, I down the rest of the tequila.

In the meantime, I make gravy with the condensed milk. This will go with the mashed potatoes I'm making using some microwaved potatoes and a sledge hammer (the tequila is kicking in about now).

I give my daughters the popsicles, and my son gets the celery on account of the fact that he eats too much junk food anyway.

The tequila has fully taken over now, and I have no idea what the hell I'm doing on Chopped.

Obviously, this will go along with a six-pack of Corona. I will likely finish the Corona before I finish the nachos. :cool:

Epic. Tequila marinated chicken does sound pretty good though. Especially if you turn it in to taco meat.

lol that's brilliant cos this morning I went to Frankie's and Benny's for breaky, and ate a massive fried breakfast...The Works!

I felt so bad after I'd munched the whole lot of fried crap and grease lol! I feel much better now though :D

Frankie's and Benny's is American right? So it counts? :cool:
