This is an "In case you didn't know" story. This was brought to my attention on Bryan Suit's Dark Secret Place podcast(best podcast EVAR!).

She actually works for Al Jazeera english. The article doesn't mention that she has TRIPLE citizenship with Canada, US, and Iran. Her biggest mistake was not renouncing the Iranian citizenship because now Syria has deported her ass even though Iran had nothing to do with what she was reporting on. Guess they don't take kindly to anyone shedding light on their killing protesters. Hope all turns out well and she gets released, but it doesn't look good.

Syria loves the Israeli border drama cuz it takes eyes of the world and their own people off the killing of civilians. Nothing unites them like the common hate of the Jews. Those dictators and authoritarian regimes all abuse their citizens and it finally looked like they wanted to break free in this Arab Spring, but oh well. And what's with Obama and NATO saying Ghaddafi must go, and Sarkozy threatening all regional leaders with being held accountable for their actions against their own people, but a blind eye has been turned to Bashir in Syria? A blind eye was turned to the Saudis reinforcing Bahrain(Home of the USN's 5th Fleet, go figure) against protesters. No consistency with the international community. It's all just a farce.
